Saturday November 10, 1989 & both Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora are on their second visit to Australia and appear here on the ABC Countdown Revolution 100th Show.
We see a relatively small interview but then we hear these two performers right at the beginning of the ladder to their future fame as we would all know about today, but back then these two were riding the wave and it's good to see & remember these times in my opinion.
The unplugged compilation is without equal in my eyes at least, we see the beautiful voices these two had in their natural prime and their guitar playing is totally first class, this is recorded in Dolby HD for your aural & visual pleasure!

Wow!! Been a fan since early 80's. Never seen this clip til this moment. Just magical. Richie's voice gives me chills, a perfect marriage to Jon's voice. The texture of the two melts well into eachother. The interviewer is a Hotie too. An extra bonus of pure Gorgeousness during one of my favorite musical era's--- The 80's Hair Bands. Rock on!!

It was Bon Jovi's second tour of Australia at the time, i remember watching and recording this on VHS and seeing live at Melbourne Park. That Jersey tour was their best one, at the top of their game!

Amazing video, thanks for sharing. I have a Bon Jovi story to share. I went to a Bon Jovi concert in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, it was on July 11, 1986, and it was, Richie Sambora's Birthday, when Slippery When Wet came out and my seat was seventh row back on the floor's. And I remember Cinderella opened for them. And Jon opened with the song" You give love a bad name". At the end of the concert Tico Torres, throw one of his drum stick's out and it landed in the row in front of me and the people in the sixth row dove to the floor. Even thou I didn't get it, it was an amazing concert and a great moment in time. Peace and Love.

Since New Jersey was re-released recently and featured the alternate tracks and b-sides, I read that Jon believes this slow version would have been a hit single. I'm sorry Jon but I disagree. I much prefer to hard rock version of this song. The slow version is ok but it cannot touch the other ballads on New Jersey
