Most beasts thrash trying to escape the cage, but sometimes you encounter one so twisted it fiends trying to find its way in. Due to his troubled past and reckless behavior Jon "Bones' Jones has been kept away from the cage he longs for, but it's only a matter of time until the beast is back where he belongs.

/ @rawmanbeats
script: he first thing we can notice when we look at jon jones is that he's very lanky and tall, but at a closer glance it's obvious, his greatest skill is his mind which he believes firmly aswell. His techniques don't deliver Knockout force, nor are they perfect. Instead his entire style and the techniques he uses change and adapt based upon his opponent, with one thing remaining consitent to his approach, An approach that heavily emphasizes an element of suprise whilst smashing you with bonier portions of his body, hence his nick name "Bones". "Side note, he also aknowledges this title because he aknowledges he's skinny".
He looks at patterns of behaviour you've refined as techniques, figures out why you use that technique and tries to use it against you through his unique anatomy, Not trying to instantly KO you but instead methodically breaking you down until nothing is left.
Lets look at a few examples of this.
Film Study
Alexander Gustafsson iss taking a spinning elbow. He waits for the jab, and the moment jon sees it coming, lowers his stance, blocks it with his shoulder, whilst using his right hand to protect his chin, but also, from that lowered position, generates momentum for his spinning elbow, devastating Alexander, to which he follows up with a clench knee. Just notice an element of unrefinedness to the way Jon Strikes. Jones clearly is not a fighter who masters obliterating with a signature move like Conor McGregor's Counter punch, and this ironically communicates his greatest strength. That he doesn't have one really strong move, and instead has an arsenal adapted specifically to you, exploiting your signature moves.
Here's another example of Jon exploiting behvaiour.
Look at the way Rashad guards by holding his hands out and looking at the chest area hoping to mitigate any traditional punches or strikes coming in. Jon sees this and uses his unique anatomy to exploit this. Look at the way Jons left hand traps Rashads right hand, nullifying his capacity to raise his hand and guard against the strike, with also the element of suprise the the unorthodox nature being a huge factor. Genius. He basically does it against rashads guarding hand here aswell.

Like he said he studies everyone of his opponents.he watches a few fights of them and not just once but a few times to find is there something that they do repeatedly and what is it that makes them do it ,what makes it trigger when their opponents attack or go into a defense mode.he study's ways to set it up so they go for it so he can counter it to an opening on their defense.ots as hes watching the fight as it already happened and tries to predict the out come of what he sees.he is brilliant at this and being hes such a talented and well skilled fighter.his only real flaws is tbe running away n the hands being low.its been close at times where he could have gotten himself in serous trouble doing such a early taught not to do.if he's ever to lose in a stand up.remember this cuz thats how and why.and it will be horrible for such a way to see this awesome fighter lose to something trainers,himself should everwt continue to be done n for that to even ever be happening.awesome video once again oeace n love to all

@@paulrobinson3534 Don't forget that athletes like Anderson Silva also popped for PEDs during that same era multiple times, and fighters like DC Cormier have also poked eyes during there fights. But I know you're too stupid and too fragile of an ego to admit It, but It's fine there's one things haters like you are good at doing It's crying about Inconsequential shit that doesn't equate to anything about Jons legacy, especially when USADA has already reported that he's not of violation of cheating via low turinobol being found In his system.

Deep Inside he was an actor but his philosophies helped shaped mma. Do more research on one of the most influential figures in combat sports history before disrespecting him. His “do anything to win” mentality is what Jon focuses on and why he has remained such a dominant fighter. He doesn’t shy from wrestling or even running from a heavy fighter. Bruce lee is respected through out the mma community even today. He wouldn’t be regarded so high if he was only a actor.

@UC1mJCiIJreaSGIUOWTxdJbA Well yeah idk what real fighters you're talking about but all the top dogs at the UFC have plenty of respect for him. Heres the truth about Bruce. He was a genuine martial artist. He wouldn't be able to stand up in the UFC today obviously since he was limited by the culture of his time. However, he was the first person who advocated for the mixing of martial arts styles and deserves a ton of respect for that. Oh, and he gets that respect. Lmfao.

I dont think he has high fight IQ and never have believed as such, he has a long reach is all He simpley gets more options than other people because he has a longer reach, that doesn't make him smarter it just means he has a natural advantage that almost no one else has Notice how other fighters we hold in similar regard also have long arms (Isreal Adesanya and Anderson Silva) we also say they have high fights IQ really its just comes down to having more tools at your disposal. If one carpenter has better and more various tools than another carpenter it doesnt mean that theyre a better carpenter. It just means they can do a lot more with the extra tools.
@httohot
@httohot 4 жыл бұрын
The minute he fights someone with similar reach is the moment that he gets real competition. The last Reyes vs Jones fight was so contested not because Reyes is amazing or because Jones got worse, its because for the first time Jones could no longer get away with half the shit he does because he doesnt have the same reach advantage. It was contested because people are soooo infatuated with the idea of a unbeatable fighter they ignore everything else, including the details For the average human, perceptions >reality, its nicer to think that Jones is the best because of high fight IQ, but its obvious why he wins so much, drugs and long arms

reasly dutchmans does pretending your opinion is a fact make you feel like you have control in life? Lmao. Just because you gave a pessimistic viewpoint doesn’t mean you’re correct. I’d say that yes he’s got a lengthy anatomy and a drug-filled history, he also most certainly has a high fight iq. Otherwise, anybody that is lengthy and takes drugs could automatically be at the top of mma lol. Or you would at least see all other short fighters out of the mma completely lol. You get the point here?
@httohot
@httohot 4 жыл бұрын
@@connorhill8530 facts are facts, my opinion is my opinion, you sir are the one that is conflating the two. I never said my opinions are facts I just laid out the details as they are, and explained how I formed my opinion from said facts. Fact- having a greater reach gives you an advantage fact-taking drugs gives you an advantage Fact-Jones has used egregious eyepokes in all but one fight fact-many many people regard Jones as a genius level fighter while ignoring said advantages opinion- people who regard Jones as a genius have conflated having multiple UNIQUEadvantages with having high fight IQ I didnt say he had low fight IQ. I did not say he is a bad fighter. I did not say the fighter with longer reach always wins I said his advantages are being mistaken for high fight IQ. Reread the past comments for confirmation You are dishonestly adding insinuations to my comments. Like I have said in other comments outside here, *NOTHING* is guaranteed in fighting but the advantages/disadvantages DO *MATTER* its dishonest to ignore those facts while claiming he is some kind of genius never heard of before. Keep in mind I have been watching him since his UFC debut, I like his style but not his attitude or general life philosophy. I was on the Jones train since I saw that first DQ loss but I had to get off of it when I took a more objective look at the man and his style

He's never been a particularly fast fighter. Even back when he was young he was fairly average in terms of speed, he just had excellent timing and was very explosive. He hasn't had the best performances recently and I presume it has more to do with the competition at LHW catching up to him. He is much less explosive now especially with his takedowns, but the timing, strength and skill is still there.

Actually, that's a really good explanation for why he has such a history of trouble with PED's. My guess is he is drawn to those to bolster against his anxiety, and to give him every last little advantage he can get. He does not take winning for granted. And, with a lot of anxious types, you find that for them, losing is scarier than death.
