He has the ability to pull out of the hat his wide variety of vocal 'pitches' to match every person he impersonates perfectly. Also you notice nuances of accent as well - he clearly can analyse and retain a vast amount of detail of people's intonation etc and pull them out of the hat on demand. He's a very rare talent indeed.

Radio is definitely Jon's best medium. And he's got a razor-sharp mind which adds so much to the humour here: just listen again to his Shaggy which isn't his best, but the lyrics are hilarious. Jon used to be Elvis as in Ask Elvis on Steve Wright, dontcha know.
