I think about it a lot. If I’m being honest I didn’t like the 2004-2005 era too much. (the shining is excellent tho) With donuts he was going back to the OG sampling style, so maybe he would’ve came up with something like that in 2007-2008

I can def see the progression to DIlla, track 10 you can hear the Pete rock influence, track 21 ( the shortest gem ever ) track 22 is ready for a NY summer hit track 31 so good track 45 sounds like it should've been on illmatic this is really necessary to see the artist's style in a specific time. love dilla, he inspires me, and I hope we can also inspire the next generation. if you're a beat maker producer etc, keep going and doing your thing, stay original .
