The choir is absolutely amazing. Give me shivers every single time. Singularity is an incredible album. I've discovered Jon Hopkins quite recently (2 years ago) and he's now part of my weelky listening routine

I first listened to this song on the road. I fell asleep on a cross-state train ride, missed my town by some dozens of kilometers and woke up. I wandered the city I was in, asked for directions and reached the highway. That night, I travelled from one city to the next, in strangers' cars, getting as far as they did, and hopping onto the next. At some point, during a long drive, at around midnight, I leaned my head against the glass, put my earbuds on, found this song and played it. As I watched the highway illuminated under the orange sodium lights, I felt calm, like I hadn't in many, many years. I felt free. In that moment, I fell in love with the view of the road under the street lights. I dreamt that someday, I would afford to live like this. Rootless, without any burden or baggage, wandering this world forever. I decided to try and make that dream a reality. I wonder if the composer of this song ever thought that he could impact a life like that.

Today's You Tube is full of パキパキimages... The fatal damage was series of rape and acute HIV infections on December 25-26-27 while sleeping, 2022. All opportunities for recovery were taken away. Still I am unhealthy. I graduated from kouyama Elementary School, Kaishin Second Junior High School, Tokyo Metropolitan Fuji High School, and Meiji University French Literature Department. I have experience in the IT job. I liked piano, cooking, design, making simple programs, reading, listening to music, swimming, table tennis, and badminton. I was born as Kanako Matsuno, a woman from Kunitachi City, Tokyo. 👮👮♀️👮♂️🧑✈️👩✈️👨✈️💃🕺👸🤴👷👷♀️👷♂️🧑🚒🧑🔬 It's natural to have disadvantages in one's job, but I hate people who force misfortune on others. lazy police who don't check the brutality and arrest the hideous and cowardly suspect, medical workers who gang up with fraudsters who are subverting healthcare, celebrities whose work revolves around their individuality, public personal information, and talent, but who continue to be competitive with ordinary people while letting their crimes weaken them, The damage is enormous. Please don't blame others for your stupidity. My family was killed in Japan in this year..

Right now there is no one taking electronica to places like this. TR/ST, Burial, Kishi Bashi and Porter Robinson try, but they don't achieve anywhere near this. This album has been a wonder. Its the first time music has really truly moved me in years.

Come Down To Us is a modern classic, but Burial misses more often than he hits greatness.

They absolutely deserve respect. And I don't mean to discount them with my comment. I'd even add BICEP to that list. I just think Hopkins is in a whole other level.

Awesome choice. From my solo experiences, no one beats Jon Hopkins at making music for the therapeutic psychedelic experience. And he's one of the few classically trained musicians focusing his intent on music for healing trips. I really admire him and his music has helped me immensely.
