Jon Jones put on an absolute clinic against Evans with his masterful use of elbows. He really pioneered how elbows can be used in MMA, seamlessly blending grappling with striking. From folding over the elbow with a double hand trap, to faking a takedown into a spinning back elbow, to pressing opponents into the fence and landing devastating strikes-his creativity is unmatched. Jones’ elbows showcase the unique way grappling and striking interact in MMA, and it’s a perfect example of how he’s always been ahead of the game.
@stefanomasci71044 ай бұрын
Jon Jones has always fought with a lot of physical advantage, not only because of his size but also the age difference, he and Evans are 10 years apart. Evans, Shogun, Rampage, Belfort, Lyoto and Sonnen are from the old MMA generation. He wouldn't be undefeated if he had to fight opponents physically similar to Gustafsson and with a fighting style that was difficult to beat.
