People booed DC because most people can’t relate to him like they can Jones. Jon Jones represents struggle and redemption. He inspirational to the average person who can’t/won’t live the highly structured and metered life of DC. DC’s ability to stay the course without making any mistakes is very impressive, but also, to a large extent, unrelatable. This is also why I don’t understand people criticizing Jones for talking about god. Religion isn’t meant for people who think they’re perfect. It’s meant for the people who realize they’re not.
