I love this song.....lots of emotions along with the reality of our lives. Coming from a military background, this reminds me of how much I missed my family when duty called. Years ago, this was so hard to deal with because I was always torn between the two; duty to my country and knowing I was missing important times with family I could never get back. Now my Mom, Dad, and 1 Sister is gone home to be with God. Time goes on and life goes on, but it still hurts. We all will at some time in our lives be required to do what you know you should do and what we want and have to do. 😢
