Okay, and? What's next? That's the problem. Nothing really makes sense or excitement. Cliffhanger works, but only when there's an exciting follow up. You don't create a team for one month, make one member turn on the other in the middle, and then end the next PPV on a "swerve, it's a ruse all along". That's not a good booking. It could surprise you, but not a good booking. Nothing really makes sense in this company. The Elite's return is so underwhelming. Nobody wanta a Trios match from them. Nobody wants them to win the Trios title. At. All. Fans want character development. Fans NEED character development so they can be hooked. All Out scrum was the biggest thing that happened to AEW, and instead of capitalizing on that, they're just "putting things back in the same place as they were before". That don't make any sense at all. Another stupidity is returning House of Black, which doesn't make sense. They were never over in the first place. People want something to CHANGE. If something big happens to any character, they have TO CHANGE. Not everyone is John Cena.

I mean the crowd was hot throughout the entire show, I guess they became a little tired by the main event angle because the rest of the show was so good. But yea, because of the lackluster reactions, the angle didn't quite hit the home run it could've and Mox had a rare off night on this promo too. However I have to say that this match has already been built well enough that this angle doesn't dampen my expectations for this match and I'm still extremely hyped for the main event.
