Hands down the GOAT.... . Most people who followed him dont even know just how many competitions he was in, how many he won. In addition, when he showed up at the one off pure strength and won 9/10 i believe to take it..looking at how huge he was for that competition should also recognize he won most of his titles much smaller.. If he concentrated solely on strongman, forgot about bodybuilding comps...holy crap!

Ya know, they always say that Jon Pall lacked the brute or raw strength and power of say like a Kaz, or an OD Wilson, or even a Jamie Reeves. That may be the case, it's a very reasonable argument. But even so, JPS was insanely strong in his day. Elite, world class level strength for his era. And in the 1987 Pure Strength Contest, he came in at over 300 pounds. At that contest, I don't think there was a man on earth that was stronger than him.

How can a guy who used steroids be regarded as the best ever? Everything he "accomplished" has to have an asterisk next to it. I get that Jon Pall was charismatic and all, but he still juiced. The guy who should be a little pissed is strongman, Geoff Cape, who was runner-up to Jon Pall multiple times in the 80s. Capes' power came naturally, hard work in the gym, and he did it clean. JMO
