I don't agree with what he said. I also think Jon Rahm is a primadonna who can't take any advice and lashes out at his caddy for trying to help him. As to your use of grawlix; they're commonly used in comic books and cartoons which are generally consumed by the young. They'll probably not know what that string of symbols is called (as I did not) but they know exactly what they mean. I was pointing more to your inability to write out your frustrations out of some inane sense of righteousness. I'll leave you to your bubble of incredible golf talent, keyboard hardened warrior mentality, and toxic golfer/caddy relationships. Without the technology of the equipment today....this guy would not be a pro. Same with many many many others.....Koepka is the first to come to my mind. I am tired of seeing guys hit it a mile in one deep rough...and not get penalized. THAT IS NOT GOLF
@RMBNTR4 жыл бұрын
@@rickheras5871Golf is not only about hitting fairways, but hitting greens in regulation no matter how - of course from the fairway it's easier. Best example in my mind is maybe the greatest 72-hole stretch in history, US Open 2000, "without the equipment from today" Koepka may be known for his long game, yet he won his - so far 4 - majors with his short game, especially on Sunday. You don't hit a mile into US Open rough all day long and finish at even par if you aren't a great overall golfer

Classic case of a big ego getting the better of simple common sense. Rahm needs more of these types of experiences before he comes right. Talented golfer, but not necessarily the best thinker. That’s why Jack Nicklaus was so great, (his swing was never the best) but he always seemed to make the right decisions. He is still the greatest that’s ever lived!
@wags30165 жыл бұрын
Jack seemed to know what the winning score to par would be during Thursday's round, especially in a major. Roger Maltbie said he was paired with Jack in a PGA that Nicklaus won, and the first day leader was -6. Roger asked Jack, "Can you believe someone is 6 under par right now?." and Jack's reply was, "It doesn't matter, 5 under par will win."
@phoenixrisin22695 жыл бұрын
I think we have just seen who the greatest golfer to ever live is and he’s not through yet. Jack never faced the number and quality of talent Tiger faces nor did he have the shots. There were literally 50 guys who could have won this tournament. Jack had one or two guys to worry about.Jack said himself that Tiger is the best player he has ever seen.

It isn’t the poor choice that shows Rahm’s character but his demeanor and attitude afterwards. It’s ironic how he’s playing at an elite level and yet he isn’t yet humbled by integrity and humility, two important life lessons golf teaches us all, no matter our talent or skill level. It’s a shame...
