I have to say, I was not a fan of Jon Rahm until two weeks ago. There was something early on in his career that turned me off to him, and I’m not even sure what it was. As he got better each year, I also felt like he would be a threat to some of my favorite players. You could tell he had a special gift. After watching his outstanding reactions to being DQ’d at the Memorial, that immediately erased any negative feelings that I had towards him, and I became a fan of his. Character counts. So, because of his positive reaction to the DQ two weeks ago, I was hoping he would win the US Open after I saw that he had a chance, and I was thrilled that he won. Congratulations, Jon! ¡Felicitaciones por tu victoria!

Jon got shafted at Memorial. There was no "real" reason for him to have been pulled from the final round that he was obviously about to win. We know a lot about COVID now, what it can and cannot do. He should have been allowed to finish his final round - period. With Rham's win yesterday, this was his way of telling the PGA the same. Love this guy. The best player on the planet right now.
@jhaz892 жыл бұрын
Shut up. Get over it. Even Rahm said he understood and regretted not getting vaccinated. He even defended the PGA for the decision. The players have known the protocol for many months and they all have had plenty of opportunity to get vaccinated. So just get over it. Just because he was leading the tournament doesn't mean they should change the protocol. Did you actually watch this interview? He talked about that journalist who followed him who he became friends with how they died of covid and were in good health before that. That's the difference. People who have actually had friends or family die from covid actually have some decency but then others who haven't don't really give a shit. So I'm positive that he understands, as he said so. So quit your bitching and get over it.
