I remember Vegas in The 50´s, still a small western Mormon town, 3 or 4 casinos, a couple of golf courses. The Nescafe Society, I saw The Count. Father Hines. Louis Armstrong, had it not been for Vegas, they would have starved. By 70, almost dead, Atlantic City was The Death Knell. I left The U.S.A and in the meantime a kid by the name of Wynn was going to turn it around. When this man talks I, for one listen, carefully.

Steve Winn is a very patient smart man. I don’t think I could have stayed as calm he did when interrupted repeatedly by this guy with endless stupid questions. Bravo Mr. Winn you are right on!!!

It’s not publicly funded. It’s paid for by room taxes -similar to passing the cost of building sports arenas in major big cities onto rental car taxes in all major cities.

It's the way the govt used to raise money. Now we have crushing income taxes that make many of us poor.
