Duke is going to be loaded this season on offense. The shooting upgrade wasn’t talked about but the spacing on the floor is what’s going to separate Duke from a lot of schools. Only thing that worries me is the rim protection but when scoring goes up that mellows it out a little. Mitchell, Proctor, and Stewart are above average defenders so it’s not like they can’t guard a chair

They don't wanna admit how wrong they were about UK. So it will be a while before they do a segment. Now if UK would have went into global jam and lost a few games they would have already done one talking about how overrated the freshman class is. When in fact this freshman class is underrated. Justin Edwards and DJ Wagner both straight dogs. Uk will be dangerous this year and Cal will be back to his glory days soon enough.

@@marcelwilson4661add on that UNC just got very hot that year. They were not a good team for the most part of that year and it showed last year. Duke showed potential, but struggled with youth and injuries. They pulled it together and got hot. 2 different situations

Proctor is a modern day 1 minus supreme athleticism but he shoots it way better than guys than guys are super athletic Reeves n Ryan are true 5s u just wonder can they play well enough they aren’t great talents but can they play well enough to give u the production u need at the 5 which is y I would say Reeves is the X factor we know what everybody else can do but as a 7’1 center who was a 3 star can he improve enough to match the potential he has

@@IWantMoreTrone ...Proctor is not a distributor. We saw it in the Tennessee game. Duke couldn't get into their offense and he was forced to revert to his strength... that being dribble and shoot. The 5 position will be a big weakness. Filipowski will again be forced to act as a distributor. A solid defense will shut Duke down. Duke will likely win the ACC regular season... and knocked out in the tourney again. Scheyer is a big question mark.

@@IWantMoreTrone ... don't you remember how Tennessee took Duke completely out of its offense? Guard play. Proctor went to his natural tendencies... dribble and shoot. Scheyer called for a 2-3 zone against a white-hot shooting team. The weakness of a 2-3 is the middle of the floor where the free throw line is approximately. Tennessee's center was hot from that location. He had a field day. It ended any chance that Duke had of coming back. It was a beatdown. Lively will be hugely missed.

Meh! Ive seen a ton of loaded Duke teams get knocked off. Just look at UK who has recruited better than anyone and hasnt won a title since 2012. His only title. When games get tight late i dont think Scheyer is going to out coach the top guys. That takes time and experience. Unless Duke runs through the tourney like Uconn did winning by 20 points every game.
