It's so painful when you're so bad at piano but still want to play really beautiful songs but all those songs have so many things going on and you still have years to get to this level, for the moment I will just enjoy playing one summers day.

I know I’m in the same boat as you are. I feel that it helps to learn 1 or 2 songs/pieces at my level then at the same time practice a fairly challenging one. This way if I ever get frustrated with the harder piece I’m always still practice an easier one.

@@theaidanmann I wouldn't mind trying that. I am kind of stuck with a lot of things at the moment and it just been causing me to lost motivation although I really want to keep playing. One of the pieces I am playing has different tempos I think, the right hand is keeping the beat and the left hand is like going everywhere and I think that is where I really struggle with just my overall music sense I guess. My beginning songs always had like a right and left hand that played on the same beat and now that I look back at it, it was not that difficult but now this is where it really begins to become challenging. I am self taught which may be the reason why I am not good, I wanted to learn how to play better with my left hand and picked up a couple of tricks on how to increase my dexterity like playing arpeggios or playing melodies on the left hand. Oh lmao I wrote too much, thanks for the tip!
