Great points about TV weekend golf. The other issue is that if a player is on top or near the top of the leaderboard on Sunday and he is not having a good round they very rarely show that player and his struggles that day. It is as if the player is not even playing that day.

This question is likely too late-I just came across this interview-but how good does one need to be before worrying about elements (like mental/psychological) outside of the stoke? I routinely shoot in the 90s, can shoot in the low 100s, and can occasionally squeeze out a round in the 80s. I feel like I should only be focused on getting my swing improved, and maybe some golf course management issues (which I think we can all benefit from).

Many of us grew up on golf in the late 90s and early 2000s. Tiger ruined our expectations of golf.
