Jon Skovron interview - Creating an Empire of Storms

In this interview, author Jon Skovron, well known for his young adult fiction, talks about his novel Hope and Red, his first book aimed at the adult reader. He describes the world he created for the book, talks about the research he did for the novel, and discusses the motivations of some of the major characters. He also talks a bit about the second and third books in the Empire of Storms series, which had not been released at the time of the interview. In addition, he talks about his early acting career, and his decision to transition to writing.
This interview was recorded on October 7, 2016, at the Capclave science fiction convention in Gaithersburg, MD. It was shown as part of episode #295 of Fast Forward, first released in May of 2018.

Just love reading HOPE AND RED. And watching Jon Skovron, who is so enjoyable, personable, pleasant... it makes me love the book more and will make sure to get all other things written by him ( would have done that anyway but this was such a great interview... thank you)/
