Coming from the man who made the movie Rosewater. Something Democrats would do well to think about as they turn their backs on the Iranians again and again and again. But they love the movie Rosewater though don't they? Or they did when they were told to. For most people it IS just a fashion choice. Generally it's a partisan cloak.

@mister kluge no, the problem is that folks like yourself continue to sow disruption amongst your neighbors by insinuating to people that those others who do not think like you have dark motives. Nah now it parrots shit. I agree with most everything Trevor says, but I don't need him to say it -- everyone else already has. And the joke tend to be obvious and so I don't go there for that either. Stewart always made me think -- he made smart, clever arguments that made me think about things in a new way or maybe for the first time, often causing me to change my mind through sheer force of logic. That made the jokes more unexpected too. Not sure what White People Problems you are referring to. American, yes, but I think you'd find it a challenge to actually back up this assertion with examples.

@@Matthew-ve7uv I think satire can be a very subjective issue which is why your reception of Trevor Noah's perspective is jaded. Clearly you & I both see the host's differently, to me how you view Noah's current version of the show is exactly why I tune in. The things you admire Stewart for, are the things I value in Trevor - it's all about different comedic tastes & insights. That's why both men are popular within their different audience groups. Judging by the rise Noah's social media numbers & influence in the US and globally since he started the show proves me right!
