I love Jon. He's one of the best brains in the "political commentary through comedy" field. It's been quite a transformative 25 years and here's how you can tell: Even though this is some of the least offensive comedy on all of KZbin, I don't think Stewart himself would consider saying a lot of it today ... partially because he's changed a bit and mostly because this is the type of innocent shit that'll cost you a career and a reputation in 2022. I'm not one to live in the past, but this current climate is a pretty good argument for being stuck in 1996. (and the music - and the ecstasy was better)

In one of those many parents embarrassing their kids KZbin videos was a Dad yelling at his son getting his diploma " You can do it ! You can do it ! YOU can do it ! "

Uh oh, Jon referred to Israel vs Palestine as a "religious war." He said it 28 years ago, but that doesn't matter. CANCEL HIM

Islamists want ALL the land where Israel is to be majority Arab muslim population. Core majority of Palestinians want the same as Islamists far more than any kind of sovereignty / self determination. They want no Israel due to its majority Jewish population. So religion is playing a large part in the conflict.

Who said it first? Jon Stewart in his 1996 Special, "Unleavened" Or Rob Schneider in 1998's Waterboy? I was watching this special and when he said, "You can do it" exactly the same way Rob Schneider has been saying it (intentionally bad accent and all), I wondered who said it first or what? Anyone know?

Both are a reference to the coach that Stewart is talking about. The coach actually said “you can do it!” like that on live TV.
