I read this quote many years ago,I"m 62 now,I never wrote down where it came from."A man can fail many times. But he is not a failure until he begins to blame someone else"-that"s powerful.

Taffer may be a lot of things, and some of his show may be staged, but he knows what he's talking about. He actually does know the nightlife business, and when people ignore his advice they do so at their own peril.

Excuses and blaming others is the easiest way out. Great stuff by Jon!

It's also not just bar owners that blame others even people outside of them do as well. Aside from politicians there are people who do nothing but blame everything but themselves when in a tough situation and also form groups saying they're really important when they're not. Like 1 Million Moms and PTC (Parents Television Council) which are really 2 big examples. These groups really are nothing but hypocrisy and blame everything but themselves and you can look them up or as they say Google them.

- If you watch enough Bar Rescue; this is true; the people that owned up to their failures found ways to turn it around. Those that DIDN'T & just pointed fingers at everyone else are the ones that STILL are failing. Canyon Inn is the biggest example; Paulie, the owner, refused all the help that Taffer offered. Despite his admission that his business is still failing, he STILL refuse to change anything to fix it. They're still plodding along because of a stubborn owner that refuses to see the light. He hasn't looked himself in the mirror & said "I'm failing because of me." Have fun Paulie while your precious Canyon Inn sinks lower & lower into failure, yet you STILL blame OTHER people for YOUR shortcomings.

These days there's a lot of people blaming things other than themselves and not manning up. Politicians are a big one other 2 are just Google or KZbin groups like 1 Million Moms and PTC (Parents Television Council) these groups are nothing but BS and really just blame things are another.
