Watched this with fellow sessionists, it sounded like when Morissette sings, the treble was turned off & she's unstable hitting many off keys with her ostinatos (maybe they're impromptu). When Jona hits the mic, it sounded like the treble was turned on & was amped up to the highest. That's their difference we can easily tell in their voice clarity & controllled dynamics, when Jona hits the whistle register (F#6) she puts her mic further down, that is the power of a resonance typical of someone with classical roots.
