Good morning. I am new to your scriptures but have been listening to the Bear Independent channel for a couple of years. My belief in God has been with me for about the last 10 years, being 50 I have never had anyone speak his word the way you do. Thank you for bringing me a way to be able to listen and learn in a way that others have not been able to get through to me.

I made the mistake of asking God in prayer where He would like to use me to serve Him; and He literally sent me to Ninevah to work in a medical center in a camp for Yazidi refugees fleeing ISIS. I knew how it worked out for Jonah when He tells you to go to Ninevah and you dip out.

Bear, I appreciate these videos. I'll be going back to the beginning to listen to each again. This is really needed right now in my life, my wife's health is not well due to Ehlers-Danlos and inflammation in the brain. I have been having health issues as well but that's on the back burner. Two of my kiddos have had concussion related injuries in the past month, one from soccer and one from a possible neurological problem that runs in her mother's family. We are very busy and being run extremely thin financially due to specialist visits and no insurance. All this to say thank you. I have admittedly lost my way with the past few years of blaming and questioning why this can all happen instead of thanking for every day we do have. You have mentioned in the past these videos don't get as much traction but please continue, we all need it whether we know it or not.

I'm pretty sure Jonah wrote Jonah... the view he gives of himself is at once transparent and indicting, but I don't think he stays bitter. The moral cliff hanger of an ending he leaves us with is a familiar space for those who have wrestled with the Lord, as Jacob did. You come out the other end "bus up" and with a deeper faith you aren't always happy with, but with Peter when asked if we are going to leave too, we say where the hell else are we going to go... Jesus, you are the only One with the Words of Life... I appreciate your time in putting this together, brother. Mahalo!

My question is being that most of us watching this live in a country where we are literate and have unlimited access to Yah’s word, when do become accountable. Back in BC times and third world nations there may have only be one scroll/Bible and only a handful of people who could actually read it. I don’t believe Americans have much of an excuse not to know The Word of Elohim. Shalom

Plesiosaur or similar if in the sea. There was also the Valley of Sheol, where, after a great bubonic plague, the dead bodies were taken to be burned. The fires burned without stopping for two years. It's where people get the idea that Hell is full of endless fire and torment. But that's an interesting take that he might have been dead. Makes more sense than (ooh, baptism!) than him trying to find air and sustenance in the belly of a whale. Maybe medieval writers were trying to envision something big enough to survive in?
@kimgordon36953 ай бұрын
Do you mean the Valley of Ghehennah? Sheol translates common grave. Hadés / is not a firey place. "There is no knowledge..." in the place to which (we) are going.

Pastor Joe Fox... I was wondering if you knew him... after being led to your channel... That prayer was answered quickly... This Torah path sure has been full of joy, the kind of joy you defined in an other video, since I've been on it.. God kept bringing me around to this true way, several times, before I finally started listening.. Traditions from my youth kept getting in the way. but for some reason, i think it's this verse 1 John 3:4 KJV Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. That was brought to light, a verse I had read many times, finally got my attention.. and my life and walk with Yehovah, hasn't been the same since... Now I'm seeing the power of God working as I've never noticed before... Now even though fairly familiar with Yehovah's scriptures, I'm am like a bumbling toddler trying to learn and get a handle on all this, and the feasts and festivals, that most of the western teachings ingrained in me, had overlooked or not given much attention too.. I've been seeking discernment for knowing when to pray for the destruction of our enemies, and when to know when deadly force is appropriate should evil show up at my door.. Then Yehovah brought me to your channel, and in my mind, I believe you're His teacher to help me with this .. I first saw you on Michael Rood's channel, so when I was led to your channel, I already knew who you were... Anyway, I just wanted to give YeHoVaH some glory and give you some encouragement to let you know I really appreciate your ministry .. Much Love to you, Brother... Yehovah lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

To those who are wrestling with the idea that Jonah died and was resurrected. Don’t forget about… 1 Kings 17 : 17-22 2 Kings 4 : 18-37 2 Kings 13 : 20 Mark 5 : 41 Luke 7 : 14 John 11 : 38-44 Matthew 27 : 52-53 Acts 9 : 36-42 And Acts 20 : 7-12 Not definitive that he actually died, but there is most definitely room in scripture for it.

Agree with most you shared, including that men and "dinosaurs" coexisted. Agree mention of Sheol is a heavy subject. Is it possible Jonah perceived himself to be good as dead, rather than literally dead? BTW, didn't many return from the dead before Yeshua? Not just Lazarus, but those who rose when he died on the stake/cross? Re the number of days Noah was on the ark, I think you misspoke @41:57 Most don't know he was on so long, so would likely not question 270 days. However, we read it was 1 year and 10 days. Genesis 7:11 [11]In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Genesis 8:13-14 [13]And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. [14]And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. Oh... last vs... 120k people... was that just a percent of the people, or specific to the people in the town limits? If all people of the area, maybe YHVH displayed mercy to (20%) of the 600k.

There is thought that the pharaoh of the exodus wasn’t completely human. (Possibly the descendant of a nephelim) Rob Skiba talked about the pharaoh who rose up (not knowing Joseph) and put the Hebrew into forced labor was an Assyrian. The next pharaoh was the one of the exodus. The idea of him going back to the possible land of his father after a defeat is interesting. This is all in the “i have absolutely no idea” category but i find it fascinating.
