If you're afraid of getting stuck at some point of this video, the hardest steps are at 18:30, 28:43 and 32:25 As you can see, it's not that hard. No tricky open sinks, no crazy collapse-all-30-creases-at-same-time steps If you think you can do that steps, you should be able to fold the this model!

I think you are the best origami instructor on KZbin! It frustrates me to the inth degree when people post so-called "tutorials", when in fact, it is really a video of them making something in their own little world, flying through everything, like you're really supposed to keep up with them! They don't have diagrams, they don't explain anything, the camera is either blurred or not even all the way focused on what they're making, their fingers are always in the way and they seem to be trying to race to see what is the fastest pace they can fly through everything!!! It's so aggravating! That's not teaching, at all. You, on the other hand are amazing! Your tutorials show that you actually want people to be able to follow along! I wish all origamist were like you!!!

Speaking to skill level, I think Mario zavala is much more better that him. But as we can see, he always make a digital model at the corner so we can see the steps clearly, which help me a lot☺

@jonakashima11 жыл бұрын
Yes, homemade tissue foil is very good for this model It's doable with copy paper, but don't expect good results because it will be a little thick to make some shapings (specially the arms and crimp fold on the neck).

Hey Jo :D (Hendrix!) Just wanted to say thank you 4 showing me the wanderfoul world of origami!You and Tadashi really got me into this.I wander why ppl cant make some origamis,you know,like "complex ones",I made like Tadashi's Darkness dragon as my second model,did various insects....Its not hard at all when someone is showing u like this. From diagrams,its little bit harder,but manageable. Since lately Im all into bugs,one question:why you did so little insects models?You did Roberts ant,tarantula,praying mantis (such a bad model Robert...:) and thats it. Do you have in plan to make the legendary Samurai helmet,or Stag beatle? Id love to make that,and I couldnt do it from diagrams,got stuck...I made Makaewa's samurai helmet,but thats not really good one. Id love to see that,keep up the good worg,cheers from Croatia.
