I'm new to origami and I started reading origami tessalations by eric gjerde and picked for my first the spread hex tessalation and I was having so much trouble doing it. My fourth layer of hexagons was such a mess. Lucky for me you did this one, I didn't do the acorn but the spread hex came out awesome and so easy with these instructions thumbs up

Hi Jo. I was wondering how you personally feel about prints and specially shaped paper. Do you think that using a circle is no different than getting different sized squares or is using a non-square shape cheating in a way? What about prints and etches?

Awesome video.. One thought though, maybe next time you could do the first part of each step slower for those of us not use to doing tessellations. You know so we can get the hang of it before you super speed through it and slow down at the end of each step.

Hey Jo I know this is kind of a bad question but, whenever I went to the website to print the crease pattern, it wasn't a square, but a rectangle along with the "ACORN BOTTOM CP" title, and I'm not sure how to save it and print it to say a 15cm by 15cm square. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, but if you or someone could possibly help me, it would be great! Thanks!

I don't have brown paper (I have other bright colours like red, green, yellow etc.) So hypothetically if I was done making the top part of the acorn can I use the printed sheet to make the top? If anyone tried this or know we can do this please reply. Also I don't know how to print the circle and the blue lines in it, I know you explained in the description but I can't seem to get it.
