Shannon Werle tbh I liked the Jonas Brothers back in the day but wasn’t a hardcore fan, I only knew them from Camp Rock and a few of their well known hits so I don’t know the ins and outs, but of all the things I had heard, I’d only known them of putting James in the credits of the song and one interview in the UK a few months ago and that was it. There may have been times where they’ve mentioned it but I haven’t seen it, I don’t doubt it, but I feel like it’s only ever in the UK. My comment just came from what I’ve known over the years: I’ve seen countless Americans who think Year 3000 was a Jonas Brothers original and that always just kinda annoyed me, as Busted have always been my favourite band. I’m not hating on the JoBros at all, they’re literally amazing. I’m just commenting from what I’ve seen, but I think this was an amazing thing and I loved seeing both bands together.

I love this so much. In my person belief, I don’t think the Jonas Brothers would be a big thing if it wasn’t for Busted. Not only did they let them re-record two of their songs, (What I Go To School For, Year 3000) but James Bourne has been writing songs for Nick since Nick was a kid. Remember Nicholas Jonas album that came out when Nick was like 12? There’s a song on there called Appreciate that James co-wrote and it’s such a beautiful song. Well, look where we are now. ❤️

I know all the iconic songs from the 70s and 80s. I'm a 90s kid and love Busted; a lot of millennials know Busted too. Whenever songs like these come on in clubs, people loss their shit and yell at the top of their lungs, best bit of night outs. I think what's wrong is that a lot of people tend to listen to current music, rather than hark back and diversify themselves.

Tbh I think most young people hark back a considerable amount, just not in the way that I meant. The likes of Queen and Journey and Bon Jovi or Abba(even pre-Mamma Mia) or whatever, those bands and others like them live on continually in pop culture, same as Elvis, The Beatles, and and Billie Holliday along with whomever else. They're the "standards" that have stood the test of time from different eras and carried through. Every one enjoys them and can sing along on 80s or 60s or whatever decade theme nights or playlists. But how many know the lyrics to Donny Osmond songs that their mom (or grandma depending on your age) absolutely lived and died for? Or Kiki Dee. Or the Bay City Rollers. Or Rosemary Clooney. Busted are the equivalent (actually probably lesser known) to these, not the enduring icons that most people have access to and think of when they think of a specific decade.
