If there really was live autotune, like from your imagination, then every live show would be flawless. It's not a magic pill, but you obviously are not a musician, so there's no use explaining something to you.

But now it sounds natural enough that you can barely hear the digitalization of the voice unless you're listening through monitor speaker/headphone, which is quite obvious to differentiate when you know the "quirks" of how current live autotune sounds like. Either that, or they altered audio of the live performance before publishing, and this is common in most of singing shows you watch on tv. But you're obviously not a sound engineer, so you wouldn't understand anyway.

@@erdoganuysal9207 Nick is a falsetto singer, immediately uses the head voice whenever he sings the chorus/verse, Joe has that mid-range, chest voice growl. Joe can go high but chooses not to because he didn't train his voice to match Nick's style because 1, his voice doesn't sound the best that high live, and it probably strains his voice forcing the notes that high. They have 2 different styles of singing to achieve an ideal sound. That is why Joe does and always will have the more aesthetically pleasing voice. His voice is much more pleasing to the ears because we're not used to hearing most singers sing almost indistinguishable to the studio version. There's just this unexplainable perfect pitch yet roughness, that Joe's voice has that Nick will never be able to achieve. Although Nick may sound pitchy at times, most do admit he does indeed have the higher range. Nick and Joe are a prime example of why having the highest range (Nick) doesn't necessarily mean you should be the lead singer. Nick doesn't have that natural growl that Joe is able to project through his very much improved vocals. Joe might not be able to hit as high of notes live but he definitely sounds the best live and in my opinion, his voice suits the sound of their songs a whole lot better. Listen to him sing 'Burnin Up' live on SNL it sounds sooo good lol. Really wish they'd let Joe sing the main chorus more often, unfortunately, the main choruses to most of their songs (with a few exceptions) have for the most part always been written to suit Nick's falsetto.
