IMO Jonas' mind was made up after the Chelsea game. U cld see it on his face. The drama with Miedema affected team morale & he could have handled it much better. If Miedema (after all she did for the club) cld be shoved aside so unceremoniously, that wld have been a massive red flag with all the other gals. The new woman Renee Selgers spent time at Arsenal's academy before embarking on a career in the Netherlands & Sweden & had 55 caps for the Dutch national side. If she starts winning I think they shld keep her, though the media kps talking-up Casey Stoney. Whatever happens, time for Arsenal to have a female coach

Very unlikeable character TBH. I was surprised Arsenal kept him. He didn't read the room at the end of the season. The fact that new players are signed under his charge for the new season will be a downfall for them this season.

To be an Arsenal manager either men or women’s you have to be able to take the constant incessant whining of their supporters lol. Arsenal women have won 60 trophies and are the third most successful team in England. Can’t see Stoney tbh. Kelly Smith on the other hand is definitely a favourite. If I were Arsenal now that they’re at the Emirates permanently and smashing attendances every week, I’d look at maybe bringing in a big name and well known manager to elevate the brand higher than ever.
