It's ridiculous, he had everything a photographic memory, creativity, outrageous fast finger twitch but absolutely insane tendon endurance/dexterity. There are some rare live clips of him and about 1/4 your fingers would start to tire but he keeps going. People can play fast, but for small passages, he just could keep going - look at his fast finger antic when playing outside @ Willies, the licks at the end of his shredding were still @ the same speed.
