What would be wonderful is a short explanation on what effect on the OMP controller has each channel. I have seen different videos on the OMP setup and all of them has a different output configuration. From your configuration it seems: CH3: head speed, CH5:stabilizer on/off, CH6: collective. EDIT: using internal TX16S OMP protocol, this configuration doesn't work for me (may be I've made some mistakes, I'm not sure). What worked for me is: a) not inverting aileron, b) CH3 collective pitch, CH5: engine off (hold), CH6: rotor speed, CH7: stabilizer gain

Thank you. Learned a lot from you. What I still dont get. Well I am a new Heli pilot. What is the pitch setting in the FBL for? I mean I adjusted my pitch in my radio. I use a Jeti transmitter.

This is an awesome micro Heli!! I have recently purchased this and the M1… Sims don’t help me and I use micros for this.. they both fly like my large Goblins and Aligns but I’m needing help to get rid of the dead band on my Spektrum set up… Would really like if you could help us Jonas!

Is there a reason NOT to use the OMPHobby protocol? Were the FHSS and Spektrum Rx's for testing, or is there an advantage to using them over the native protocol, noting the TX16S supports that OOB?

The OMP protocol has fixed pitch and throttle curves. When you are a little more advanced it starts to bother you.

Can I just ask, I thought using the radio master meant you could use the omp protocol and stops needs for annoying satellite, is the only reason you use spekyrum JUST the signal?

While using the radiomaster makes it a lot easier because you use the FC curves when connected to the internal OMP receiver but it's not for everyone.

You write that if you are a spektrum user, you have to *set channel limits to 125% as well. Does this apply only to channel 5?

Love this file! The only issue I'm having is with Rescue. When I activate rescue the swash goes negative pitch then positive. It does not flip the heli, what would I tweak?

I am able to get into the set up mode in the flight controller, sadly it wont make any changes, i can push the right stick forward and still stays at 5 Blinks, i can hit the right stick down and still blinks only 5 times, what gives? I am using the Spektrum DX9. I have tried this ON ELEVATOR, AILERON, RUDDER, with the SAME RESULTS. Frustrated.

Never mind, i figured it out, you can ONLY make changes in IDLE 1 AND IDLE 2, I had it in N mode, once i moved the switch to idle 1 it worked, of course keeping my throttle hold switch ON!

Hello, i need help with TX16s setup/file for the OMP M1. i watched the vid from Jonas for the M1 from 1 yr ago and it states NOT TO USE this if still hovering. i am! This later vid says it is ok for the novice BUT this is the M2 ,i have a M1. Because i bought a TX16s with Edgetx i am lost on any form of programming, knew basics on a spektrum. Can anyone please tell me which setup i can learn on the M1 anf tx16s. the more i watch the more confused i get,

3 minutes sucks ,, sorry it just sucks so I got mine set down to 75 to get 5 minutes but it's pushing it ,,I got 10 seconds to get it down
