Yep. I kinda gave up on Trent Palmer because his set up is so far out of my league. Jonas and OneAV8 are my favorites because they are inspiring to the little guys.

Yep! I usually have really long ones when I have the room for it and just bend the very end, then later on there's plenty of unbent length to use again after I cut the bent area off, I also only ever bend one leg

I have no idea how the STOL competition wound up in Pinedale but I used to live there. Airport is at 7,000 feet ASL. There is a burger shack that may not be open this late in the years but when I lived there it was called the Sugar Shack and had really good burgers.

I use the bucket on my front end loader to pop the tire beads. Shrink wrap on the tires should help with the aero on trips.

You might consider adjustable slats across your oil cooler I have a system on my 912 uls with a push pull cable in cab. Works well in climb and cruse

Jonas go to J&P cycles and get a oil cooler thermostat for a Harley. It will eliminate the need to put tape on and take it off.

i was wondering if you could put a kind of "window blind" thing on your oil cooler, like the old Saab's from Sweden had, to reduce cooling in lower temperatures, so that they could get some cabin heat, but have enough engine cooling in summer.,.could be removable for everyday use, but handy on long flights through different temperature "domains" a bit of wire to/from the cooler, a bit of "drain chain" fitting into a keyhole slot for adjustment...
