Great teaching rabbi Cahn!!!!! Yeshua gave His life on Wednesday evening. (Passover every year may fall on different day but it’s always, I think Nisan 14 if I’m remembering correctly) Was in the belly of the earth for 3 days. (He said He will die and rise 3 day after, He said He will destroy the temple and rebuild the temple in 3 days, He fulfilled scriptures also about Jonah being in the belly of the whale for 3 days. And 3 days would prove to the faithless people that He was dead and came back to life, that it was not a comma). Rose on Sunday (Saturday evening). He rested for Passover (Shabbat holiday) and Shabbat (weekly Shabbat). Shabbat shalom from Texas !!! ❤️❤️❤️Hope to meet you and your family in person one day! There is a difference between observation of the day, and gathering on a certain day. Christians don't worship Sunday, they gather on Sundays to worship God and fellowship. But. People observe Sabbath - the day, because the believe it is Holy, Sanctified. There is a difference.

My reading of the fourth commandment tells me that Sunday is not the day that God blessed and sanctified and God didn't rest on the first day of the week but the Seventh, after creation was complete. It's a curious thing that so many Christians have decided to observe another day. I believe Sunday is the counterfeit Sabbath. Satan wants us to violate God's law. How clever he is!

I agree - the first and last day of the feast of unleavened bread was always a sabbath (day of rest) if it was in the "week" it was called a high day - John 19v31 so He died on the "thursday" 3pm (thus passover started on wednesday at 6pm approx) The day starts as soon as the sun sets. And we know that Jesus ate the passover with the disciples (it was always a late meal - thus their tiredness in the Garden of Gethsemane) [And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:] Luke 22v15

No, Yahuwshua died on the Gregorian Wednesday, rising after the Shabbat "DAY" which is from Sunrise to Sunset as stated in Tehillim. Man goes out to his labour from Sunrise till evening. As commanded, "Six days you shalt labour, and do all your work: but the seventh day is the shabbath of YHWH your Elohiym: in it you shalt not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you." So according to Tehillm, Shemoth and Debarim, from Sunrise to sunset, six days a week, man goes out to his labours that bring him increase that YHWH has instructed, but on the seventh day for those same hours, man must keep a shabbat of rest to YHWH. On the 10th "DAY" of the seventh biblical month, the Torah says is yom ha kippurm: this is the 10th "DAY" from Sunrise to Sunset; and on this DAY (like the weekly seventh-DAY Shabbat), the work that Yisra'el was instructed to go out to labour at, six days a week, is not permitted, even in harvest time Yisra'el must deny themselves from going out to do their labour that brings them an increase. But YHWH has instructed for this 10th DAY, that we are to start the rest on the evening of the "9th DAY"...the evening that follows the 9th light. Our leading up to the 10th DAY/LIGHT, must not be like our leading up to the six DAYS of the week that we labour in, but must be in solemn preparation, for that day. That is the only reason that YHWH commanded that Yisra'el start their rest on the previous evening. I think you meant to say "The Jewish Shabbat"; for evening to evening is not biblical, but Jewish. The tribe of Yahuwdah have determined this. Elohiym created and made all from Sunrise to Sunset, "Day"/"Light"...then there was "Darkness" = "Night"/an Evening & a "Morning ". From the beginning Mosheh states that YHWH made a separation between the Light and the Darkness. YHWH did not invent the 24 hour clock, but has ALWAYS made a distinction between the Light and the Darkness, Righteousness and Wickedness. Elohiym created during the Light... and ALL CREATION follows this LAW... except prideful man... including the tribe of Yahuwdah who brought back all the Babylonian paganism, and now most of all the Messianic assemblies who are still entrapped in Yahuwdah's wrong traditions and teachings. The small minority of Yahuwdah who came back from Babylon, wept on hearing the Torah instructions for they had forgotten YHWH's instructions over 70 years. Were the elders confused? Did the instructions for yom ha kippurim put a spanner in the works as to the true meaning of YHWH's DAY? Yahuwdah have changed the instructions for Pesach. It is clear from YHWH's instructions in Sh'moth, that on the 14th day, between Sunrise and sunset, between the evenings, between the 8 1/2 - 9th hour, the Sacrifice of YHWH's Pesach was to be slaughtered, then the whole ram was to be roasted, then on the evening that followed the 14th day, that is: the beginning of the 14th night (night:consisting of darkness -an evening and a morning) Yisra'el were to eat the Sacrifice of YHWH's Pesach, fully clothed, and in haste. YHWH would go through Mitz'rayim MID-NIGHT (the dividing time between evening and morning) on the 14th darkness that followed the 14th light. Yisra'el were not allowed to keep any of the sacrifice until morning if not consumed fully, it had to be burnt up by morning (morning: being the latter part of the 14th night/darkness). Sunrise would come, and a new DAY would begin... the 15th DAY when Yisra'el would leave Mitz'rayim. But Yahuwdah have mingled the 14th into the 15th, and this is not biblical, not YHWH's Word. Why is it that the Sun, moon, animals, plants, seas, all obey YHWH's law for Day and Night, but man doesn't? YHWH's creation Comes alive at Sunrise. The birds, flowers, plants,, the earth, the plankton in the sea, the animals, etc; and in the evening all lie down again and rest, the whole earth quietens... for are there not 12 hours in YHWH's day? Are we not to work while we have the Light, for the darkness comes where no man Worketh. Was not YaHuWSHuA in the grave four "3 Days" & "3 nights"? Or was he in the grave for "3 Gregorian /Roman Days"? After the light of creation each day, it says there was evening and morning = NIGHT. Mosheh explains it this way, that Elohiym created in the Light (which YHWH called Day) and this Day was followed by Darkness, which YHWH called Night (consisting of an evening and a morning). The light (Day) was followed by darkness (Night -evening and morning). YHWH raised Yahuwshua up after the sundown attached to the 7th Shabbat day. Yahuwshua was offered up as the Omer sheaf of first fruits on the next first day of the week after the day of rest at the time of the morning olah korban...so that we would be accepted. No one could touch him until he had offered himself to YHWH on Yisrsel's (all tribes) behalf. When does the Pesach begin? Yahuwshua was sacrificed between the evenings on the "14th Day". That's between the 8 1/2 & 9th(after Sunrise) hour... 3pm. He was taken down and buried by the sunset of that 14th day (which had commenced at Sunrise) according to the Torah instructions perfectly. He was in the grave "3 full nights" (3 full evenings and mornings) & "3 full days (3 full lights). There are no sacrifices at "night" to YHWH. This is not biblical. Only during the DAY, were Yisra'el allowed to sacrifice, for YHWH is LIGHT, THERE IS NO DARKNESS IN HIM. YHWH made an oath to YaHuWSHuA that He would not leave his being to see corruption (to be in Darkness). The true believers will worship YHWH in spirit and in truth, and will not follow the traditions of man, but will meditate on YHWH's written Word day and night, for it is only YHWH's Word which is truth... not the traditions of man.
