If Offiah was prepared to take on the Australian test team's line more than he did he might not have copped so much criticism. Not trying to take away from his career because it was about as good as it got without having a series win over the Aussies. As for Davies? They didn't call him the Welsh Wizard for nothing. Brilliant player IMO.

JD was a tough working class legend, Offiah was very talented as a runner but from a privileged middle class background. He didn't have the same amount of fight in him.
