I was in the crowd that day as a 12 year old Balmain supporter. To this day, it is still the best game of football I have ever seen. The kicking duels between Greg Brentnall and Gary Jack were fantastic. And it wasn't just me, this game was called the greatest game ever by other commentators as well at the time.

Unfortunately Great Britain started going down hill from 1975 - Current with the odd glimpse fliar the only time I've seen Great Britain show any real passion and coming close to Beating Australia in a Series is 1988-1994. They need Sam Burgess and James Graham need to get under current lot of Great Britain/England players next time they play the Kiwis and the Kangaroos if they want to win a series and possible World cup because the Kangaroos the Kiwis are the Benchmark in Rugby league. Yes they can bet France and they should be betting alot the other Pacific nations even thou they will make it a Physical game and a close one very rarely a Cricket score

When NSWRL was looking at expansion, it should have been serious about moving St. George to Adelaide. One they are Patron Saint and there would’ve been no need to change their identity. Adelaide Rams was a failed and miserable experiment.

Dallas would come to our place a fair bit as he was good mates with my dad. I remember these days at lidcombe dad would take me in the sheds after the game and win or lose these blokes would get stuck into the cans just walking around the shed naked and every second word was a f bomb lmao. Back in those days the players would have 7 schooners each day where as today they get one night out a week and have 70 schooners whilst pinging on chems lol. These were the glory days. Go the mighty maggies!
