A Lapine and Finn show. it's semi-autobiographical, surrounding a children's show songwriter Gordon Michael Schwinn, who - in the middle of his career - is sent to the hospital with a brain tumor. His biggest fear is dying with songs still inside him, and his experience transforms into a musical (with the help of the hospital staff, his mother, his boyfriend, Roger, his best friend, Rhoda, and Muser Bungee, is tyrannical boss). this is my all time favorite show, and I encourage you to listen to the original Cast album, which features stars such as Malcolm Gets, Norm Lewis, Kristin Chenoweth, Chip Zien (my one true love), and Mary Testa.
