That has to be the most stupid quotes I have ever seen. So because of this, we are supposed to be blind to the injustices of black people because the bible said so. I swear people love to pick and choose from the Bible nowadays. What happened to Isiah 1:17 Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. Proverbs 13:41 Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honours him. Psalm 146:7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food for the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free. I hate the fact the people use the bible in an effort to be idle in times like these. When people are calling for help. I'm not a perfect believer I know that for a fact but If I can do good by the people on earth then my life would be worth something.

Easy Bandz I was asking you a legit question. You said that MLK and Garvey are turning in the graves listening to this perversion of scriptures. I asked, “How were the scriptures perverted? Aren’t we all sinners in need the gospel?” I asked the question to understand your position. I have to disagree with the answer you gave. Jesus did not come for social justice. He came to save us from the wrath of God. We were destined to hell for our sinfulness and we were all condemned to hell. Jesus Christ became a man to change all of that. If Jesus came to fight injustice, why didn’t he free his people from the oppressive rule of the Romans? Why did he submit to a Roman cross himself?
@devans304 жыл бұрын
It’s not our job to condemn one another which is what Isaacs is saying as well. The fight we should fight is the fight of faith in the One and Only Savior. Our job is to realize his grace and approach it with humbleness and the biggest thing is love not color.

That is what he is showing in this decision in not kneeling and not wearing a shirt. He knows that those outward actions are conformity with the world and it's views on how we can end racism, and not really a way to spark the right conversations. We love to, as humans, do outward things that don't cost us much. It's easy to follow the crowd, it's not costly, you don't have to sit in an interview and get drilled with the same questions. You blend in, and if anyone speaks out against you, the crowd goes after that person and they get drowned out. This is a move that requires him to share his motives carefully, that interview is exhausting. At the end of the day, kneeling and wearing a shirt does nothing to get rid of racism. And going after those who don't do this outward expression of support is asinine. You are free to kneel, you are free to stand. You are free to support a brand such as BLM and you are free to choose not to, because the means and methods of BLM doesn't match with your convictions. Think about this, those who are crying out for white people to pay black people for the sins of their ancestors aren't getting justice. They are putting a price on slavery, racism and hate. They are saying, this is enough to cover the sins we have been stricken with. They are saying we will be appeased for this amount of money. There is no money in this world, that can cover the cost of one sin. Only Jesus Christ on his cross can pay that sin debt.

Aziz abdiwali he didn’t lie because he did the right thing by putting God first. He basically told reporters that he supports BLM but only kneels before God in Prayer. The first commandment is to put no one/ organization above God. I support Black Lives Matter but the Organization itself is taking away his right to the 1st amendment. Everyone has different ways of support black lives. Don’t discriminate against someone because of their skin evaluate them based on the content of their character, no matter what race they are. If i had money, I would be more willing to give it to someone one who is nice. On the flip side, if someone was being a jerk, I wouldn’t give them money. Simple. He didn’t lie on God’s name.
