Jonathan Isaac, number 11 on the Orlando Magic basketball team made headlines when he decided not to take a knee and to stand during the national anthem. He also choose not to wear a 'Black Lives Matter' t-shirt as the rest of his team did. Reactions since then have been swift and varied. Jonathan share how his faith influenced his decisions.
"I am about solutions. When I saw people taking the decision to kneel, I thought the best decision and the best solution is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because that is how my life has been supported. That is how I have seen countless lives be changed, supported, changed for the better, when it comes to situations like racism. Realizing and understanding we are all made in the image of God is the answer. That is the solution I went with."

"I kneel only to God and will stand up for Jesus Christ." What a Warrior. Regardless of your side, this man deserves respect. What a good example this young man is, having the courage to stand for his faith in such a polarised environment, I wonder how many of those who were kneeling didn't want to but didn't want to disappoint others and went ahead and knelt? "The only thing we need to remember is to love God above all things and love our neighbors as ourselves..." how wise & courageous this player is!

Christ would be the first to speak up and kneel for those mistreated and oppressed. He definitely would not of sided with people who protect their culture of sin toward others. This guy has an enslaved gospel, not the authentic one. The scriptures he is quoting fails basic logic. For e.g, someone who murders or harms children carries a heavy burden of sin than someone who steals. Too many people have been in indoctrinated with bad theology. In addition of being void of common sense and practicing the two greatest commandments.

Joseph saw justice. now let us go to the real world (i debunked the bible in my book THE UNTOLD NATURE OF CHRSITIANITY) MY LIFE= volunteered unpaid serving humanity 45,000 hours, many other hours paid a little (usually minimum wage). started nonprofits and joined others, not paid. charged with a crime i did not do- put on parole. became chrsitian despite not being a sinner, and became a pillar in the church, was in the natural realm. christian woman hooks onto me, I not wanting her, but she would not let go, none of my christian friends separated her. four years. i served as volunteer there. she finally maninpulated me to wanting marriage, got me to eat her damn smelly pussy, and I was taken to a mental ward. spent a total of 30 months there. wrote books exposing the government and those above it. my sister took me to court to put a restraining order on me with lies (she had arranged with the government- it was a kangaroo court)and that being a parole violation, i was put in prison. she kept my portion of the will from mom =$1million. i have been in and out of psych wards and prisons, my only crimes being threats not meant to be carried out, and writing books and emails exposing evil government and people and systems. been in 8 months solitary confinement 8 months, assaulted 30 times, But I have what some might call justice- i am still in the natural realm. i have all i need. I have a great mission and nobody in my life to bother me and my work. I had more than a total of two million taken from me, plus my trailer and cars, and have no vehicle, but live near a bus stop. life for me is good. but I am the fortunate exception. ASsange. snowden. Mumio and a host of other political prisoners who have it worse than me . Regarding blacks- an equal percentage of all races do drugs. Fact. THree times as many blacks are arrested for drugs as whites. there are states with three strike laws- third charge and you spend many years or even life in prison. these are private prisons, and some states have forced labor in them, and seven states have forced labor with no pay at all. I am not in one of those states, but in the local jail where i spent six months in solitary confinement, the inmate who worked two or three units over twelve hours a day, sweeping mopping halls, cleaning showers, passing out food, doing laundry, helping commissary, earned $1 a day. so where is the justice? Evil men get rich, good men suffer. Justice? wake up. it is there but for few. I am one of the few, but my life was far from easy. I have been made strong via hardship.

@Mouss3ab [[JESUS VS MUHAMMAD]] 1 Peter 2:21-22 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” Quran 33:21 There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah (muhammad) an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often. ●Muhammad said Allah doesnt love unbelievers. (Qur'an 3:32, 22:38) ■Jesus said God loves everyone. (John 3:16) ●Muhammad "I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah" (Muslim 1:33) (Bukhari 2:24) ■Jesus "He who lives by the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52) ●Muhammad Stoned women for adultery. (Muslim 4206) ■Jesus "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." (John 8:7) ●Muhammad Permitted stealing from unbelievers. (Bukhari 44:668, Ibn Ishaq 764) ■Jesus "Thou shalt not steal." (Matthew 19:18) ●Muhammad Permitted lying. (Sahih Muslim 6303, Bukhari 49:857) ■Jesus "Thou shalt not bear false witness." (Matthew 19:18) ●Muhammad Owned and traded slaves. (Sahih Muslim 3901) ■Jesus Neither owned nor traded slaves. ●Muhammad Beheaded 800-900 Jewish men and boys. (Sahih Muslim 4390) ■Jesus Beheaded no one. ●Muhammad Murdered those who insulted him. (Bukhari 56:369, 4:241) ■Jesus Preached forgiveness. (Matthew 18:21-22, 5:38) ●Muhammad "If then anyone transgresses the prohibition against you, Transgress ye likewise against him" (Qur'an 2:194) ■Jesus "If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also." (Matthew 5:39) ●Muhammad Jihad in the way of Allah elevates one's position in Paradise by a hundred fold. (Muslim 4645) ■Jesus "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called Sons of God" (Matthew 5:9) ●Muhammad Married 13 wives and kept sex slaves. (Bukhari 5:268, Qur'an 33:50) ■Jesus Was celibate. ●Muhammad Slept with a 9-year-old child. (Sahih Muslim 3309, Bukhari 58:236) ■Jesus Did not have sex with children. ●Muhammad Ordered the murder of women. (Ibn Ishaq 819, 995) ■Jesus Never harmed a woman. ●Muhammad "O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness." (Qur'an 9:123) ■Jesus "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." (Matthew 5:5) ●Muhammad Ordered 65 military campaigns and raids in his last 10 years. (Ibn Ishaq ) ■Jesus Ordered no military campaigns, nor offered any approval of war or violence. ●Muhammad Killed captives taken in battle. (Ibn Ishaq 451) ■Jesus Never took captives. Never killed anyone. ●Muhammad Encouraged his men to rape enslaved women. (Abu Dawood 2150, Qur'an 4:24) ■Jesus Never encouraged rape. Never enslaved women. ●Muhammad Demanded captured slaves and a fifth of all other loot taken in war. (Qur'an 8:41) ■Jesus "The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve." (Matthew 20:28) ●Muhammad Was never tortured, but tortured others. (Muslim 4131, Ibn Ishaq 436, 595, 734, 764)

@Mouss3ab John 14:8-10 8 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? @Mouss3ab You haven't defended the Qur'an's verses that were pointed out to you by E B. He has made glaring comparisons to what peace and goodness means according to both the Qur'an and the Bible. There is no disputing it. The Qur'an doesn't appear to spread peace and tolerance among everyone. Only to Muslims.

At least your not brain dead and can use reason. Some questions that are unmistakably obvious when processing a disbelief in a designer or what people of faith call God. It's certainly a step in the right direction to at least acknowledge a person of value and someone who is passionate about his convictions to the point of actually putting them into actions. Yes, another part of a Christian belief is that we are all given by the grace of God free will to choose our own path. Love is at the center of all glory to God. You cannot force someone to Love you, and of course that is no different from our Loving father in heaven. Obviously the big bang hardly explains everything to a "T" when attempting to figure out the bigger more deeper questions that Science just will never be able to explain. Science has become the new modern day religion attempting to falsely claim an exact truth. The word is derived in it's origins from the meaning , "knowledge". Knowledge is nothing without the wisdom to which then determines reason when applied with purpose for what is an expected outcome. Science , or the religion of science has been touted as facts. Yet we always attach terms such as Theories, speculative notions, and hypothesis to our research and studies. It's however ironic to note that a majority of our advanced knowledge in most of the modern day beliefs attributed to the many sciences were processed and discovered by people if devout faith. Including the idea or concept of an begining called the big bang. Also the discovery we use so extensively in today's modern world called DNA. Then you could ask the deeper questions regarding the often overlooked influences of the study of the human intellect, or category known as psychology or even the inner workings of the deep state of conscience. Us people of faith refer to it as a an eternal soul. Perspectives run the gambit all across the board. The Gospels even address such doubters of a faith in a God by just about every character ever written about from Adam to Abraham, to Moses, and on up to Peter and his Apostles. I assure you, that your doubts are in very good company. Jesus made a statement that no man ever lived who was greater than John the Baptist. Yet even he too had his moment of doubt. Imprisoned by Herod and awaiting his fait he asked a contact while behind bars to once again ask Jesus if he was the one that would deliver us from the bondages of sin that permeates this world. So having doubts about a certain Truth is not unusual. We are human after all with limitations. We all face the inevitable death in this life which is certain. Yet we also are all with a mind so complex , that we argue and debate over this very question of ; who, what, and why? Reason might suggest that we have a designer , like the Apple computer did not evolve from an explosion or cars did not fall from the sky? Yet we posses something uniquely different from any other creature , as I stated earlier , the sub conscious mind of knowing right from wrong, being able to contemplate deep thoughts of self image. Our sciences as we know and understand them currently only scratches the surface to these questions using biology and our chemical makeup. Is it a coincidence that a book written over 5,000 years ago would suggest the origins of mankind made from the clay of earth, and to this present day any biologist would share the knowledge that we share the exact same properties of metals in our biological makeup as what is contained in Earth's soil. Or that only one human bone in our bodies is capable of regeneration or regrowth , the rib. Interesting facts of nature that correspond with a very old text. Their are of course many others that get ignored. Then you look at the historical evidence from non biblical text that refers to the events of the place to which we date the calander of today. This should be at least interesting enough to ponder over, as someone interested in , shall we say science? Knowledge. We already realize the value of many ancient text that include many stories of morality , and then stop in our tracks when going further to ask from where does this originate? Surely , morality does not come from a rock? It's good to keep an open mind and realize that to dismiss the values of having a faith in God has been witness to many who felt as you do now, full of doubts and questioning much, and that's ok. God bless you on your journey , especially if your seeking Truth. Love and Truth are synonomus .

@@DarkMysteriousObject The problem with atheism that there is nothing considered to be bad or good. Example rape is not really a bad thing in atheism because there is no higher moral ground for them to look up to, Hitler was an atheist and believed that society doesn't need jews because they are problem so they decided to kill them all and considered that to be a good thing. Margaret Sanger is an atheist who believed that abortion is a good thing and her real plan was to reduce black population using the means of abortion. Christians love people that's true never the less they don't accept human sins, as christian we are striving to follow what Jesus taught us and to follow his examples to be as loving as possible to tell them the truth!

I think most born again believers can identify with that woman before they can to saving faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it's the power of God. So, to her, what Issac was saying was foolishness...and yet...God's love and His mercy is so great that He would use that interview to give her the gospel...and prayerfully the Holy Spirit is drawing her that one day she too would come to faith in Christ. She will never be able to say that she didn't know.
