Jonathan Isaac answers questions in regards to his vaccination status at Orlando Magic Media Day

@NAMskalle2 жыл бұрын
My main takeaways from his interview was: 1. He is not antivax or anti-science. 2. He is uncomfertable taking the vaccine "right now", due to medical reasons (mainly having had covid). 3. He will continue to follow covid guidelines to protect himself and his teammates. It's not optimal but at least It's not AS bad as a lot feared. He is not a nut case and I don't think he will create a toxic culture in any way.
The media is lying to you. Quit letting them divide you from your fellow man.

"It's not optimal but at least it's not AS bad as a lot feared" No, this *is* optimal. This man made a decision on whether or not to take a medical treatment injected directly into his bloodstream. Whether he chose to take it or not is irrelevant. How you feel about it is irrelevant. What's important is he made a decision for himself of his own free will and did not let up to any coercion or pressure. This is optimal. Your gaslighting is sub-optimal.

He's asking the same questions we all are. I have a few more. Why are we segregating by vaccination status? When we all can get and spread SARS-COV2 viruses, at the same rates according to the CDC, so why are we segregating? What about the disabled? Why should someone young and healthy take the risks associated with the SARS-COV2 vaccines, when they may have obtained natural adapted immunity to several wild type viruses and the Delta mutation from previous infections? Why would a healthy, young person, whose chances of dying from covid19 are less than .5%, take an experimental vaccine that is currently using the entire planetary population as human guinea pigs in an illegal experiment in violation of several Nuremberg Codes? Why are doctors in charge of federal health care policies denying early treatment methods that doctors on the ground have proven work? Why is the media suppressing news about Uttar Pradesh and how they're using Ivermectin as a prophylactic and in early treatment protocols and their death rate is near zero, in a country of 250 million? Why is what is happening almost the same thing that happened during the AIDS crisis because of Anthony Fauci's failed federal treatment protocols? How many died because of Fauci's actions during the AIDS crisis (I lost several) and how many have died this time because of his failed healthcare protocols (I've lost two, so far)? I have many more questions about the origins of this virus. What exactly was the involvement and connections of those that were in charge of our healthcare response to the Wuhan lab, DARPA, and other governmental agencies? Were they involved in any way in the possible creation of this virus? Who was watching Ecohealth Alliance? Was there a watchdog agency over the spending and proposals of Ecohealth Alliance, or was it just one person? Who were the people in charge of checking where Ecohealth Alliance was spending American taxpayer dollars and who was in charge of authorizing their proposals? Or were they just given funding to do whatever they wished? How come the "journalists" never ask any of the questions I have to those in charge of our bureaucracy?

Masks don't help. Nobody has a clue, so don't trust biased people in power trying to steamroll you. Still missing a vital point. Firstly, he correctly stated that he has already had COVID. BUT he should emphasize that that means he is MORE protected than anyone who is vaccinated. Also, anyone under 30 years old that is healthy should NOT get vaccinated EVER. But he is right that the government forcing people to take the vaccine is horrible and causes many of us to say “no, I will not support tyranny”.
@andrewmaher84092 жыл бұрын
He is very wise in his choice. There is research published in the BMJ (a large UK study) showing that those who previously have had covid are 2.9 times more likely to have notable adverse reactions if they get the jab.

Wow!! I hope this young man and his wife do decide to have children. An amazing role model and beyond wise for his age!! This is a guy in his twenties and he shows more maturity and composure than politicians three times his age, they can learn something from him. I don’t watch basketball, I really have no idea who he is, but he is truly a blessing!!

great job isaac I very well articulated smart calm and rational answer. thank you for standing up for free choice. god gives us free will not some government entity. so they cannot dictate to anyone mandates that go against your free will. thank you for your thoughts and contributions towards our freedom. I love the the fact you also told people to love everyone no matter their vaccine status or politics. thats what we need. the world had become too tribalist.

I’m a Hawks fan but I’m excited for Jonathan Isaac, he’s one hell of a defender and I’d love to see him continue to work on his offensive game. Magic fans, you guys have something special not only on the court but off the court, this is a man who cares about his neighbors and will work hard for years to come. Even if he doesn’t end up becoming a big 25+ ppg scorer he will more than make up for it on the defensive end. You may think I’m crazy for saying this but I think Isaac can win one if not multiple DPOYS in his career. Not right now of course, immediately I can think of some better defenders AD, Giannis, Embiid, Simmons, Gobert, and LeBron come to mind. But if Jonathan Isaac maximizes his potential he may very well win multiple DPOYS during is career.
