This mans rudimentary playing is on point. He has spent hours that no one except other drummers on the planet, can understand. When I say hours, those hours turn out to be years in the grand scheme of things. I hope he still plays every day. Showmanship is also awesome.

Last year in December, I went to the Vanguard audition camp in San Jose California, and none other than this man himself was the one who was auditioning the snares. He’s still got these amazing chops to this day. Pretty crazy.

@xsteezysnare95x actually, that isn't a cavies snare. Cavies snares are Yamaha, that is a pearl. Plus, the Cavies snares were bright green to dark green fade, this is a black to green fade. The lugs on this are also different to those of the lugs on a yamaha snare drum.

Apparently it will take them a little longer to realize that ALL marching percussion sounds better outside. Tenors, multi, etc. were still inside that year and that makes next to no sense. Actually, the polls just came through: it makes no sense at all.

Hey, is it true you are wanting to make up a lick or solo with some guy by the name of Jake? I've heard rumors that you saw a certain winter drum show he was in and pointed him out and said you would like to, is this true? Also, I know your cousin.

I think the only reason he didn't win is just because Keelan had better showmanship. Keelan's solo was great but I think Leal's was better and he didn't make any noticeable mistakes. He just didn't get into it to the level that Keelan did.

@tstew25810 жыл бұрын
I really like Drew Guy's stuff but sometimes he gets a little too stick-tricky for me, Leals, was more technical but still grooved, thats probably why he took 2nd.
