One of my exes accused me of DV, we both got locked up. I had to leave my home AND STILL PAY FOR IT! Once we went to court the DA/State reviewed the case and found that I did nothing wrong. Initially I was facing atleast a year but once they saw she was in the wrong they asked me how would I like to proceed. I declined to go further but they ended up giving her probation, anger management and a therapist. I lost a potential job because of the pending charge.
