The grounding of the airforce could only be blamed on the airforce chief who chose to be subservient to the judiciary.

The Rav is 100% right about Menachem Begin. He also opened the door to Chr*stian missionary organizations. Under his watch, the "International Chr*stian Embassy" (ICEJ) was established. It led the way for all the others. Begin: “Your decision, to found the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem - at a time, when we were left alone by others because of our faith - was a bold act and a symbol of your closeness to us. Your gestures and your acting gave us the feeling that we are not alone.”

A normal army doesn’t need a declaration of war to repel an attack. A normal, professionally-run army should have acted according to its operational plans, regardless of the intelligence information or political declarations. Point in case, there’s is still no declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine after 3 years of war. US has not declared a war on Vietnam and neither did USSR on Afghanistan.

Everyone running this international law line to bring up right to send also in addition to this needs to know under international law you cannot respond to ppl of an occupied territory when they carry out something that would otherwise be an act of force as an act of force. There are different and very strict rules for occupied territory issues and resistance. The process must be the criminal justice system not an act of force as there is no right to defend. I think it was terrible and a terrorist attack and that Hamas are a terrorist organisation, but under international law it’s not legal to treat it as an act of force. They should have been arrested and prosecuted. The reason most states never keep an area as occupied territory are due to the very strict and annoying for them rules this status requires. Gaza is considered occupied territory under the control element because the controlling state can control what goes in and out which breaches sovereignty. They have managed to carry the narrative this was legal but any international lawyer could have told them it was not and was probably navigating this in all that time delay when they could have stood up the army for the citizens under law enforcement and criminal process. I guess they just decided they didn’t care about international law tho

@@lionofjudah61967 there are multiple sources of international law that apply to occupied territories some is across treaties some is customary. That’s why when ppl say does it have a right to defend itself and exist it’s inflammatory. Of course Israel has a right to exist, in the sense that any State has a right to have a national religion, this is not unusual, it is just not common particularly in a democracy where historically not separating church and state has proven problematic. So of course a Jewish state has a right to exist, but in the circumstances it doesn’t change the international law that there was an occupied territory so in the circumstances that occurred it didn’t her a right to defend itself under international law with a proportionate response. If Australia had come and done the same thing it would have under international law

At war with whom? A terrorist organization? This begs the basic question as to what is the legal definition of war or against whom can war be legally declared?

After about 18 years as PM bobo notayahud hafreijer haboged doesn't control the educational ministry, the defense ministry, the foreign ministry, the intelligence agencies, the judiciary and at age 70 he probably can't even control his bladder 😂

Stop giving Boo Boo a pass. He is still the PM and should have immediately resigned. Worse, he was in charge most of the last 20 years and the tunnels and money funneled to Hamas occurred on his watch. In order for the country to move on, Boo Boo and Gallant need to be fired or resign asap.

You seem to think gnome the country is run by the judiciary that took power before Netanyahu. That was the reason for the judicial reform. As to resignations, we need to start with Miara, the Supreme Court, then the clowns with falafels on their lapels, then the protesters.

Reported on Twitter (X) a short while ago: "The Headquarters of the Hostage Families has called on the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman to nullify the recent decision made by the State Security Cabinet, and Prime Minister Netanyahu, to maintain a military presence in the “Philadelphi Corridor” between Egypt and Southern Gaza. With the families, as well as Defense Minister Gallant, claiming this decision is the main obstacle in the ongoing ceasefire and hostage negotiations with Hamas."

Why doesn’t every member and former member of Israeli military service own government issue firearms and have them at home at the ready? How could it have even been more than one hour before police and military were racing towards the battle?? Helicopters would have been much more helpful than planes in this situation. This is a Ridiculous Failure. We have probably birthed this woke insanity here in the US and as an American I apologize.

Just curious if any thought has been given to mpox. Apparently, certain groups in Tel Aviv (which it is the "capital" for) would be particularly vulnerable. Has any thought been given to how this would impact troop strength, the Levant in general and everything else taking place? *Just food for thought, no answer needed.

Here's an idea for radical thinkers to ponder. Has anyone considered building Third Temple "under" the Temple Mount? The technology is there. It would show respect by leaving the Al Aqsa Mosque in place. It could be any size and dimensions. After all, the First and Second Temples were there first. You would only be disturbing ground underneath the First Temple. It would be no business of the Muslims what you do down there. No archaeological information or artifacts would be lost. It would be a relatively nuclear or other attack-resistant zone. Expensive? Yes, but as permanent as anything else in the World - a long-term project that could be funded slowly. Undeniable too. Finally, remember that "they" have already dug underneath the Temple Mount to remove historical archaeological information. It would not be a radical idea from that perspective. Let's face it, "them" digging under the Temple Mount was an exercise in stealing some sovereignty from Israel from the bottom up. A kind of "Mittachat" incursion that should not have happened. Like the other aggressions going on, it was done under your nose. You can do the same thing, but better and permanently.

I think the huge delay was talking with lawyers because under occupied territory rules of international law there was no right to defend. An occupied territory brings very strict rules in which is why no one normally maintains this status and tries to negotiate a treaty of agreement. I think it was a terrible terrorist act that normally would be an act of force enabling a proportionate response and right to defend but for resistance in a territory you occupy you must instead deal with it using the criminal justice system with prosecution in court as criminal. They could have stood up the army to defend the citizens under the national law but instead I assume they were negotiating with lawyers to find out what response the situation enabled but they obvs didn’t care about the legal advice any competent international lawyer would have given them
