Jonathan's Honda S2000

It's been awhile since I uploaded videos last time, but if you know the Canadian winter, you will probably understand. And I've been quite busy since I started my new position at First Gear Project Calgary. Anyways, It was my honor to shoot Jony's S2000, such a low mileage car with tasteful mods, even though it was "bought" not "built". But I have massive respect to his decision, because he works hard, and was able to catch the opportunity when it comes. Hope you all enjoy the video, and I appreciate for all the loves.

@@joelrios8975 why yes they are. I bought may VERY clean and all stock formula Red S2k back in December and it has almost doubled in value. It was a bucket list car and I’m glad I bought it and one day you will be too. What I would suggest is for you to find a not so nice/ fixer upper cheap. Between $5000-$8000 stick a K24 and just build it as you go. There a lot of people have done that and some say there better then stock f22 engine cars. Good luck my maaan!! ​@@wolfparty4234 Glad you went for what you wanted and attained it! That said, I'd stick to the platforms original F20 engine... I know they are comparatively close in performance and the K-series has a LOT more tuning potential but I would much prefer to build out the fabulous 240 hp core which was built to such a factory high level; classic and unique.

S200s are great! I've driven a couple and the engine is lively; they're fun and a true drivers car. That being said, my 02 6 speed Boxster 986 S 3.2 liter tops it in every aspect, even fun-factor. At its core lies the number one aspect of performance/handling sports cars, that is it mid-engine layout. The motor is also equipped with variocam which kicks in at around 5k rpm, giving another level of thrills! Not dissimilar to my old 2ZZ swapped MR-2/S which had "the" best and most pronounced switch when it hit lift, at around 6200 rpm... never got old!

Correction; Imo there is something the Honda S2000 has that is nicer right out of the box, that would be the shifting/shifter.... like butter and pleasing to engage with its notchy,, mechanical feel. That said, with after market shifters that can be improved quite readily.

That's actually a homage to Honda's classic emblem design from the 1960s. It's probably from Ballade Sports.
