Mono Neon! What a great serious student of bass and music. I can hear James Jamerson influences in his playing, Jaco, Anthony Jackson, Larry Graham too, what a unique voice on bass. He sounds like he’s studied everybody. He comes out sounding like himself! Killer drummer in this video too. Excellent!

À peu près OK. Anthony Jackson un peu moins... autre style de Contrebassiste de formation qui joue plat. Mononéon est un peu plus complet, slap et le feeling qu'il a est très funk mais je dirai qu'il met la formation Jazz au service du Funk. Pour finir Mono est un tueur. Quant à la team 🙏. Jaco est unique et il a fait des disciples à tout jamais. Paix à son âme. Personnellement Mono est jeune et je préfère quand il est accompagné de Sput. Groover tjrs. Les USA sont une référence pour le Français que je suis. Vos écoles sont les meilleurs et très cher.

You can tell Mono is not thinking about anything but the musical moment; no specific lick or phrase he wants to use, just being really good at analyzing the energy in the room and connecting to that through his musicality.

@@apexone5502 Do you know any tips to play like that? I only know he plucks two strings at once and uses the scale based off of the lower note, but I'm not a bass player i really don't know how to 'shake' the note as well as he does
