At least Jonathan had a shot at a Lincoln. It doesn't matter whether a pricing game is won or lost, but it's the experience of BEING THERE that matters. I can testify to that; I was at a taping this past March, and I loved every minute of it. I didn't get called down that day, but being there with 300 souls was AWESOME!!

Awesome, cool to see a fellow Canadian on TPIR, eh? [I'm from SK]. Shitty you didn't win the Lincoln, or on the big wheel, but hey, if I was on TPIR, it wouldn't matter if I win or loose, I'd be so proud of being on the show, i'd post it on KZbin, as well as mailing a tape of it to all my friends and family!

Hey There, No problem. I put it up to show some friends and family and had no idea that so many people would see it let alone debate over whether I lost on purpose! Ya buddy - I'm pretty sure I lost a car on purpose! It first aired in the fall of 2002. It's been replayed a number of times since.

Hey, did this episode air from CHCH-TV in Hamilton, Ontario? I was just curious because at the beginning of the video, I can see the Canadian "G" rating at the top-left of the screen.

It's pretty much impossible to lose on purpose since drawing discs out of the bag is random. However, it IS stupid to say a 2 is the 1st number in the price of a Lincoln. Saying that the 1st digit is less than 3 in this game these days is a stupid guess.

I hated it too, but I guess they had to have something up there while they changed the colors of the purple, red, and orange panels. I don't know why they didn't just reveal the original stucco that was behind it.

This is the only game that got harder once the price of cars went from four to five digits because they didn’t alter the rules to accommodate the change, like giving you a digit etc.. resulting in a very low win percentage, providing the lowest ever for a pricing game.

Jon I feel bad you didn't win that Lincoln...

To be honest, I'd feel equally bad if he did do it, because big-ticket items like that have tax liabilities attached, so even if he had won it, if he didn't win sufficient money for the taxes (or if he wasn't rich going in), he probably wouldn't have that car anyway.

I see that this was when they had that disgusting Hollywood turntable.
