I like the warm sound of the Epi over the harsh sound of the L-5. Both guys are great players. They make that song sound simpler than I thought it was. I'll learn this one. Thanks for posting.

How cool! No overdriven first tube! Love the sound. Please tell Norm that he can stop telling Mark to turn the guitars WIDE freaking open... Seeing Mark’s own show now, I see and hear he knows how to do clean.... so, who says to keep turning up the guitars to max? A great electric in clean will sound a lot like these wonderful gems... Awesome jazz... Gotta look up these guys!

@IsaacSmelcZhan5 ай бұрын
Didn’t Mastren also play an l5? he was featured in many l5 ads.
@MARKMANIATT5 ай бұрын
Quite possibly. I was referring to Carmen’s period with Glenn Miller’s great AAF Orchestra during WWII. He is quite clearly seen playing his Emperor. He may well have played an L5 with Joe Marsala and Tommy Dorsey.
