Frank's comping on this is amazing! He moves the bass and chord so well. It's a great lesson in creating interesting motion in the voices

and interesting to see how he keeps that same 3-finger shape

I remember reading Martin saying that once he listens to a record he remembers every note and 'practices' in his head during London to Scotland train trips. Gosh I must be old... ::))))

Musical brothers love those little harmony lines frank sneaks in and the chord soloing / chord melody It really doesn’t get much better than this

Two Masters at work. Terrific playing here. I hope today’s “shredders”, are put in the way of such fine sounds !.

Music to my ears. MT is a very lyrical jazz guitarist. I hope I'm saying that right. Or is it intonation. Ahh whatever... A purist in every sense of the word. I love it. Very few like him these days.

The lines are lyrical and the intonation is so clear.

And , man, to play this fast and still be lyrical

Frank's opening chord vamp maintains an upper G-note on the second string (G/B, E7#9/E, Am7/A) followed by a surprise D13 with a B upper-note. Sounds great.

Absolutely spectacular. There are layers of perfection it's just hard to put into words. Reminds me of seeing you both and Tommy years ago in Manchester. Spellbinding.

Where’s Jimmy? Ha ha ! Martin Taylor is great , taught me a lot with his instructional videos years ago.. Frank would have to be one of the nicest guys in Jazz. Very cool dude and a great teacher too.

Liked , I saw your videos about left-hand imitation of the piano and I have a request would you please use the reference song (la Campanella) even though it’s not your area of expertise song because it’s a classical but see if you can do it versus the piano please.

Martin is twice the guitar player that Frank is and Frank continues to rubber neck looking for compliments. Martin's facial expressions belie a guitarist toying with his counterpart. ;-)

Frank is a fantastic player. I wouldn't denigrate him, in case you cause embarrassment. To yourself.
