Andy's Gang with Midnight and Squeaky, Froggy the Gremlin, later in the day was a Lash Larue western sponsored by "Grapette" Soda and all those interminable 1940's westerns where looping one chase scene over and over was par for the course. @@oklahomaisok I agree completely. He was so far ahead of his time…. He could go into a story describing a scenario that was very abnormal but his delivery was so smooth as thought to make the situation normal then say one sentence half way in and completely put the audience on the floor….and he would do it from just an obscure suggestion, ALL impromptu! Talking about inflation again. The cost of heating in the winter. The price of gas. Shortages. Out-of-control crime, especially in NYC. Poor leadership. A Middle East that hates us. No... it pretty much sounds like 1974 all over again with the addition of BLM riots, CRT in schools, and the obsession with pronouns instead of attention to problem-solving.

@NoOne-kr4jc
@NoOne-kr4jc 5 ай бұрын
@@marionodom9585He said when Robin and Jonathan were on, his job was "to stay the hell out of the way." I don't know of a host to tell u the truth that wants to be the center of attention when they are interviewing. I think Fallon is a different era, but he doesn't steal the spotlight. Carson's Tonight Show, notice there's air between the conversations, sketches and what not. Ppl had more patience and it created a much more relaxed atmosphere. Wouldn't business want to keep the viewer's attention as long as possible? Now it's too much. The hype feels crazy from the audience like they're from a football game. I think Carson was a reflection of the times and he retired partly due to when he felt the spark get old, cuz he didn't like what Bob Hope was doing. All due respect to Hope, as entertainment is subjective, he did get stale for me.

"I hear you have some thing going on at night, and you can't stay." And I believe that both Jack Parr and Steve Allen did day time show, to be seen at night. We should go to www.imdb.com that site should have the information on when each show was actually done. There could be other places to go and see the time they did their show. Jimmy might have been a night show but I am not positive.

I laughed so hard I fell out of my bed my whole life he has been my favorite look that up on Google it’s the funniest story he’s ever told on Johnny Carson love him so much❤️💖

JW's childhood was miserable, but he hints at it and used it for comedy. When he returned from the service (WW II), he went up to his room at his parents' home and it had been emptied. He asked his mother where all of his things were - his clothes, his books, his records, his 'stuff' and she said, "We got rid of it, We didn't think you'd make it." He left and I'm not sure he ever returned. So glad that he found the love, support and home life he longed for with his wife of 60 years and two children. My God that man made me laugh!

@@cascorick8253 The overwhelming majority of the US citizenry weren't in Vietnam, so what is your point? That certain individuals or groups of people faced hardships in life? My comment didn't dispute that or diminish it. I merely stated the person sentiment that I would rather be living back then than now. An anecdotal desire that I am sure many others would echo in this ridiculously divisive and socially fragmented times. Where people can't simply laugh or enjoy something without some oppressive demand or expectation that they should be weighing the deep aspects of social justice, or judging something or someone based entirely on their adherence to trendy woke politics. I like to laugh. I like to watch interesting people converse without the weight of politics constantly pressing down on them and chilling their speech. Vietnam? Beloved, I don't know you in person but God know you. God ministered to me in a revelation when I was on your profile to see things around you,I saw blessings but spiritual attacks holding onto them,in prayers,i saw a woman in the realm of the spirit monitoring and plotting delay in your life, with an evil mirror, and with motive to destroy. But as I speak to you now her time is up, Render hand of favour with Anything you can afford or give to these motherless foundation (Godstime MOTHERLESS FOUNDATION) in kebbi state Nigeria before 2DAYS with faith, as I Rise my hands towards heaven and pray for you they shall serve as point of contact wherever you are, you will receive double portion of grace to excel and total restoration of breakthrough in your life and in the life of your family. Ask for their acct details and help them call the MD in charge of the orphanage to get their details on (WhatsApp or call them now on +2348154975597) tell him I sent you. For it is not by might nor by in power but of the spirit saith the lord (zechariah 4:6). You shall testify to the Glory of God in your life. God bless you in Jesus name.
