I'm not very religious, but was lonely, and they were the nicest people on planet Earth and I went back 3 more times just for the good vibes, music and people. This kind of church service is WILD and so much fun! But the gospel readings were peaceful, like a cool bath after a marathon run. For anyone down playing this, you probably can’t fathom the amount of skill and talent it takes to sing at this level. They’re not just screaming at the top of their lungs it takes grand amount of dynamism and articulative finesse to consistently make such a flawless noise. Not many people can pull this off.
@SadBarista_7 ай бұрын
As a former classical and church choir member I can say that that is absolutely correct. You don't know how much practice it took for me to unlearn how to take my lighter classical singing voice and turn it to a Southern Baptist choir singer.

@Jarjar-X7 ай бұрын
@@childrenofbodom33333 see!? This guy can’t fathom it. You probably don’t know this, but they’re not saying/singing “ah” and “oh”. The sopranos and altos are singing “I--am“ while the tenors sing “going”. In a percussion like fashion that creates the echo that we hear. Belting effortlessly on each phrase as they’re heavily mindful of their breath control. It ain’t too much, bud. It’s how much effort they gotta put in to make that noise. Baptist church choir music is one of the most hardest styles of singing, and no, it’s not an opinion, it’s a very technical singing style. I miss word what I said in my first comment. They’re not even screaming at the top of their lungs. When you can effectively belt, you barely have to put in effort to be that loud.

Yeah but not christian god, as this is a pagan Irish/Scottish/Welsh/French thing, they would chant in caves. It was initially banned by the church and is still banned by muslims. Christianity adopted a bunch of pagan stuff to get a foothold in Europe, like the churches are caves that they sing in, just like the pagans. They even falsified letters to give them permission to sing. Nearly everything you like about christianity is just Pagan. Christmas is their winter sharing festival, easter, singing, even poetry and rhyming comes from Ireland. What about heaven where you see your loved ones? thats pagan heaven, in christian heaven you kneel before the lord for eternity.

When I was growing up, there was a 92 year old white lady who had been going to a Black church with her (also white) husband for 20 years and long after he died. She never spoke about it as “Black church” or like it was something she was spectating, it was just church. Her church. She was “Sister Florence” to the congregation and said her church was the warmest, most spiritually satisfying she had ever been a part of.
