Yeah I I feel like this song and blu are just fantastic and really shine in that album. They truly know how to talk about relationships, it's origins, and how much they are important. How much we want and need them. While his singing and music skill is just INSANE. I think first and foremost, he's a poet. And I'm ok with that.

I actually don't tell people about this song, as odd as it sounds. I think there's real healing potential in this song, but I also know that often times when you put things like this in another person's orbit, they don't appreciate it and then the message really doesn't sink in. I feel like this is the kind of song that has to find people. I feel like it's only when the person and the song find find each other organically that the message will really sink in and the healing can happen. Maybe I'm wrong. Just how I see it. I do love this song and what it's done for me.

This song gives me chills everytime I listen to it, and it just fills up a place in myself that I didn't know was empty. He's unlike any artist I've ever seen in that he gets so damn EXCITED about ever thing he comes up with, and it's so cool to see an artist that gets the same feeling out of his own music when he's writing it, that I do when I listen to it for the first time or the four-thousanth time. The music industry does not deserve someone so precious😂

I can't even begin to express how the vulnerability of this has effected me. Before I even saw this video, Stupid Deep became my all-time favorite song of yours and it has brought me to tears many times. I have never been able to relate to someone's creative process on such a deep level. I'm singer/songwriter, and on sooo many occasions I have also said "I didn't write this" and it's always with those songs that are the most healing and meaningful. And although I have a KZbin channel and have tried on multiple occasions to stick with it and share stuff, those special songs have never made public release. And part of the reasoning behind that has been busyness with school/work. But for a long time now I've been feeling God slowly start to prepare me to immerse myself in my music, to the point where I recently dropped out of college. The day before I decided to drop out I heard this song for the first time and it hit me haaarrrdd. I've been going to college because it's what other people expect from me and I convinced myself that it was going to somehow lead me to who I'm supposed to be. So literally this song has just been the crescendo of what my life has been building up to recently in self discovery and "the realization" of all things me and all things emotionally healthy. I can not thank you enough for your music and vulnerability, Jon. I believe my music and myself are going to continue to grow, and God working through you is one of the reasons that's happening. Thank you.

And this ladies and gentlemen is why Jonathan David Bellion is the best artist of this generation and a big inspiration and savior to many people. I would die to work with this man. When I write, produce and make songs a ton of my music is inspired from this dude. He has changed the way I see music and society and gives me a glimpse of hope in the music industry again. All this mumble rap shit has took a toll on the music community and it sucks that people call that talent and buy into it. Most of those people are scumbag drug dealers. This guy right here, is the definition of talent. He is one of the rare species of real and genuine musicians u will meet in this day and age. He cares about the craft and music not any other bs. That’s what music should of always been about to begin with. It sucks, but hopefully one day more people see that.

Jon, every time I watch this video I cry. It’s usually either when you get the banjo plucking, when you add the bass in, or when you start screaming when singing but every time I cry. You carry more emotion in your music and honestly the music elevates the music and brings out emotions that I can’t describe with words. This song has been my song for 2018 because it’s truly the realization I had when I changed my life. This song brings not tears of pain, or sorrow but of growth and sorry this comment is everywhere but it’s truly how this song makes me feel.

Jon, if you ever end up seeing this, I want you to know I am forever indebted to you. You have HEALED me with your music. And these videos; watching you put it all together and take all this glorious noise in your head and translate it to soundwaves... I can't even man. I love you man. Wherever the road goes I'll be right there with ya. I'd sell my left kidney to see you live again. make sure you throw Ohio on the next tour list. Actually, fuck it.
