To know where her bedroom was, to know they use the back stairs, to know the amount of his bonus, to know where the suitcase could be found, to know where the paintbrush could be found, to know where to find paper in the dark, to know where to find a pen in the dark, to navigate the maze of the floorplan in the dark and silently.... this leaves a very short list of suspects. They talk about the length of time it takes to write the letter but what about writing 3 pages in the dark? Does the letter look like it was written in the dark? If the window was the entry/exit route, does it make sense that they intended to force her or carry her through that window? Then, if her through the window wasn't the intent, why write a ransom letter while leaving the victim to be found? All of these points would suggest a disorganized thinking culprit, but then they plan well enough to baffle everyone? I have tried to be objective about this case since the beginning but at this point, a cover-up is the only thing where all of these things make sense.

It was someone who knew them or had stalked them. It all boils down to the fact that this person spent several hours in the house familiarizing themselves with the entire house and they had a few hours to kill while the family was at the Christmas party-hence the time to write the ransom note. Its that simple

I agree killer have visited their home a couple of times and in fact must be on the xmas party that day and stayed in the soooo many rooms they have and attacked the poor baby girl 😱 RIP Jonbennet 🙏

The house was put in a Christmas list, other people enter the house because it was historical and saw the Christmas decoration. One of them must be killer. By my take is a kidnapping gone wrong. Jonbennet had told one of her friends she was going to get a secret Santa visit and a lot think that she knew the killer. The killer took great action to know she was dead, so I think she knew him. She was an extroverted child and children talk to anybody. The blow to the head, the strangulation- they made sure she was dead, maybe jonbennet didn’t want to go with them. Jon Ramsey had taken a sleeping pill, his wife was sick with cancer and they must have not heared anything. After the Christmas party they left the house for a family gathering and came back later at night around 9ish or 10ish, jonbennet was asleep and was carried to bed. The killer must have come in and wrote the note while they were gone, the killer most than likely knew them to have that much confidence. The note was left in the stairs prior to the killer going in the room to get jonbennet. Netflix documentary didn’t cover everything, they just want to remind the public and to keep her name alive until they find the killer. Also new dna technology now. They should run a genealogy to see if someone related to the killer is a match and from there narrow it down. A few cold cases murder of young women have been found that way.

I lived in the area when this happened and this fouled up investigation has infuriated me for decades. I've even wondered if the cop who is blocking everything wasn't somehow involved in the murder or a relative? I've since learned a lot about narcissists and the cop doesn't want to admit that he screwed up and lost pertinent materials? Something ain't kosher.

AFTER the Grand Jury, Mary Lacy had more DNA test done. In 2003, the Boulder police developed a DNA profile from saliva found in her underwear and scrapings from both her hands under her fingernails. In 2007, Lacy had JB's clothing tested for "touch DNA" and then chronicled her findings. She apologized to the Ramseys and exonerated the entire family. She said, "The match of male DNA on two separate items of clothing worn by the victim at the time of the murder makes it clear to us that an unknown male handled these items". Lacy then compared the DNA found on both sides of Jonbenet's longjohns and it was a strong match to the profile in CODIS. Here are some of the references: 1. January 9, 1997 CBI Lab Report - Serology 2. January 15, 1997 CBI Lab Report - DNA Testing 3. 2007 Boulder District Attorney Memo: Comparing CODIS profile vs Bode Tech's Lab findings under JB's fingernails 4. Pherson Associates LCC, 2012 Report "The Disappearance and Murder of Jonbenet Ramsey" 5. People Magazine - December 3, 2024 If you can't find all the documents, search "the facts about the DNA jonbenet" and a reddit sub has the documents listed.

The investigation ends at the phony ransom note. An "intruder," would have to assume you will have pen and paper ready for them to write such a note. It doesn't make sense cause it's fake. No one is going to break in and murder a child in the house. Why would an "intruder," tell them to be rested when they were supposedly already asleep in their beds? LOL. Patsy wrote that because SHE was tired.

And the mother didn't touch the note? How did she read the note? Where are fingerprints?
@winnowmethis9501
@winnowmethis9501 Ай бұрын
Either that note was written by Patsy or it was someone who knew her very well and had a vendetta against her. The note is the key piece of evidence. Never mind if the handwriting was conclusive or not, it is the content of the letter that draws a straight line to Patsy or by someone who knew about Patsy's past as a beauty contestant where Patsy regaled the audience with a reading from the book/movie, the "Prime of Miss Jean Brody", where the same misspelled words highlighted in the book where in the note along with that high-brow term "attache". Far too close to the mark to be of random chance. No fingerprints! Very telling. That would suggest that Patsy leaned over the staircase to read the note without touching it. That is the only way her fingerprints weren't on it, unless she picked it up with tongs. Had anyone ever asked Patsy how she handled the note? The fact that there were no fingerprints, suggests that it was by design that none of hers would be found on the note to steer away from incrimination. Same as with the flashlight. There is no way a flashlight would not have fingerprints on it or the batteries. The batteries must have been removed and wiped down to eliminated fingerprints. All of the media is now buying into John's narrative, hook, line and sinker. Classic case of misdirection.

@winnowmethis9501
@winnowmethis9501 28 күн бұрын
@@mariawood2467 Exactly. Plus, I heard an interview where Patsy said in her own voice that she picked up the note. If she had, there would be fingerprints. But as it stands, I think she wrote the note and made sure her finger prints weren't on the note while writing it, and never touched it afterwards. But she stated that she did pick it up. A flaw in the perfect plan. Patsy incriminated herself in that statement alone. And the other piece of evidence I took note of was that she said that she got up out of bed and 'got dressed'. Got dressed? She was wearing the same clothes from the night before. No woman would put on the same clothes (party clothes I might add) first thing in the morning. Also incriminating.
@jimhudson8491
@jimhudson8491 15 күн бұрын
You apparently believe that when someone touches a piece of paper, one or more prints must be left. Please try to show more curiosity about how evidence is created and gathered. Especially before accusing innocent people of lying or hiding the truth. Fingerprints are left behind due to the natural oils, sweat, and debris on the skin. Washing hands removes or reduces these substances, which can make fingerprints:• Fainter or incomplete: Less oil and moisture means fewer residues to transfer. Less defined: Clean hands leave less contrast when touching smooth surfaces like paper. Completely dry hands after washing may leave fewer or no prints. However, if the hands remain damp, they can still leave visible marks. Type of Paper: Glossy paper (e.g., magazine pages) is more likely to show fingerprints because of its smooth surface. Matte or porous paper (e.g., printer paper, note pad paper) may absorb oils and sweat, making fingerprints less visible but still detectable under proper forensic analysis. Look within and try to find some humility. You and thousands of similar armchair sleuths have thoughtlessly hurt Patsy Ramsey, John Ramsey, and their child Burke.

@@jimhudson8491 I have a response to that, "red fibers". Fibers in the ligature. Fibers on the blanket. Fibers in the paint tray. Fibers on the duct tape that were on the inside of the tape, where that tape was left behind in the basement when the body was brought upstairs when Patsy hugged the remains. Her statement, that she hugged the remains and wrapped her arms around the body, where Patsy was wearing that same red sweater from the night before as her response to the reporter who asked her about the 'red fibers' AFTER that was asked of her in discovery where she did not respond. That hug did not deposit red fibers on to the duct tape! And let's not forget the ransom note supposedly written by a 'foreign faction' with language I dare say a person with a second language would not likely have written. Also, the similarities to the "Miss Jean Brodie" story. The same misspelled word like in the story. The attache. The "hence". Oils? I see. Patsy washed her hands and came down stairs and picked up the ransom note. Therefore, left no fingerprints. Even if that was the case, does it sweep aside the similarities in verbiage in the ransom note to Patsy? Does it sweep aside the red fibers? Take a look at the totality of what is relevant. No one will ever know exactly what happened except POSSIBLY those who were in the home that night. And the public was denied a trial that had been concluded there was enough evidence to press charges that never materialized because of an ELECTED DA over road the voice of the local citizens in the grand jury.

A kidnapper wouldn't write this kind of detailed note, but the fact that it was something personal means that the killer was trying to fool John by confusing him that their child was in their possession but had already died in the basement. They made sure that the family would wait for their call and ensured that when they found their child, she was already dead and couldn't be brought abruptly to the hospital to be saved.

I don't think that ransom note is a big mystery. Psychopaths enjoy inflicting pain, physical and emotional pain. They enjoy torment, and that note was probably just a way of tormenting the family of the victim. More victims. The killer was probably hoping the family would find the note, and in their panic fail to find the body for a time. I think the original profiler's assessment was spot on.

My current speculation is that it could have been someone who had been in an affair with Patsy, a disgruntled ex. They might have had access to the house from previous visits, perhaps even with a key. The movie references in the ransom note being a reminder of where they used to go together maybe, and using her notepad would leave doubts about her innocence. It's a very twisted scenario, but to destroy JBR and leave Patsy in the frame would be a perfect revenge for being rejected if you were a psychopath.

I so agree with you- It was Jon Ramsey. They have TOUCH DNA evidence, which any credible investigator will say can be transferred by many people in many situations that are innocent. It does create reasonable doubt, which is why Mr Ramsey loses nothing by speaking up now. Even if his DNA is identified so what? He’s the dad and it could’ve gotten there by simply hugging her. There are far too many coincidences, weird actions and investigation blocks put forward by the family early on for me to believe at least some of them weren’t involved- This was a ritual sacrifice involving sorcery; it was the Parents. Also, EVERYONE, watch on KZbin the Larry King interview he did with one of the Lead detectives, Steve Thomas, and the parents of Jon Bennet: both Pat and John Ramsey- Steve Thomas knew it was them; that is why he left the police department, enough evidence was there and the cops ignored it. What I think is her dad was sexually abusing her, there is proof that she was sexually abused before her death. I think her dad was in a sect and was having others also rape her, thus the semen found. Rape is used in Ritual Sacrifices

A psychopath would potentially write something like that note if you think about it. A lot of them know a great deal about police procedure and might well have known that making them all believe in a kidnapping would waste precious time by tricking them into not doing a thorough search of the house and cause the crime scene to be contaminated as they investigate a kidnapping vs a murder. I am not a professional, just someone fascinated by forensics, and even I know that. Also more- the letter gives the monster a chance to gloat at John, which a narcissist would do. Thinking about John reading it might have given him a cheap thrill. Have you ever written love fan letter to a famous crush just to feel closer to them even though you knew they'd never respond? It might be something like that. This case has haunted me for so long. I keep hoping they solve it. I never believed it was the parents or even the Burke theory. Someone got away with a terrible murder. RIP Jonbenet and Patsy.

I have a hard time believing the family killed her, but Patsy made so many suspect statements and actions. It’s hard not to believe she was somehow involved in some way. Like looking through her hands at the police, claiming to step over the step with the notes which no one else was able to do. Claiming to not have served the pineapple or her ever seen the bowl even though her finger prints are on it and there are past photos of it in the house. Even the fact that the Ramseys stayed in separate rooms and John was casually looking through mail and making plans for a flight. They also seemed to not notice the time for the call had passed. They also immediately told hordes of people when the note said don’t tell anyone or she will die. And Burke had struck Jonbenet in anger with an object before.

I don't believe the dna will change anything. This is all about John trying to quiet things down because of Burke stirring things up again on Dr Phil. Dna was under her nails and (trace) on her pj's. Reports have said that she clawed at the cord on her neck, so the dna under her nails are likely hers. And her pj's were brand new (unwashed) from the store. So dna is likely from the store/factory workers who handled the packaging. This whole "we must test the dna" is a distraction. A red herring.

Interesting how KZbin removed my comment about dna. I wrote that running the dna won't matter. Reports showed that poor girl clawed at her neck because of the choking cord. So dna under her nails would be hers. And if dna on her clothes is trace it probably came from store/factory workers are they were new/unwashed Christmas pj's. Basically unrelated dna to the case. I had the theory that Burke hit her and Patsy and John worked together to cover it up because they thought she was dead. Patsy wrote the note and John staged "the body". By not calling for an ambulance they were responsible for her death. Note: when Patsy called 911 she changed from saying "ambulance" to "police". Burke had to seek attention by going on Dr Phil. This is all Burke's fault, start to finish. To try to quiet the mob John is trying to distract attention away from his family by suggesting a red herring.

Two investigators who actually worked the case each wrote a book about it and presented some compelling evidence that points away from the intruder theory. Mr. Kane, who actually investigated the case and played a role in presenting to the grand jury, who did vote to indict, just stated that information had been developed as a result of that grand jury and that it was significant. If you look at all the evidence available to the public, I think that a reasonable person can say that an intruder likely did not commit this crime. The media and some streaming services are seemingly abandoning the family did it theory and essentially reporting it as fact that an intruder did it. This is likely not a DNA case. Reporting on this case and presenting documentaries on this case that ignore evidence, ignore the totality of the circumstances, and ignore the fact that a rather good investigation took place after the initial crime scene mistakes, is wrong.

The Boulder PD hired 2 private handwriting analysts & they also took the note to the Secret Service for 2 of Their experts, all 4 said NO Ramsey wrote the note. The Ramsey’s attorneys also hired 2 of the best in the country & both said the same. A few of the letters had the formation Similar to the formation of Some of Patsy’s letters because that’s how it was SET UP To BE. The letter formations were Not the only aspect that told the Real experts that NO Ramsey was involved in the writing of that Ridiculous note. And, the public have Never SEEN Patsy’s actual writing. From the 1st week of 1997 til 2007, DNA testing was done at 3 separate labs. Within the 1st Two Weeks, the results of DNA testing were back - from under both of JB’s pinkie fingernails - Unknown male DNA, mixed with JonBenet’s DNA. Steve Thomas & his cronies kept this vital result from the DA for 7 months & so of course, the public too. The same Steve Thomas who had Never worked a murder case before but later went on to Pretend that he was lead detective & he still does. Two spots of blood were in the underpants but that was Never tested. Steve Thomas got around the office constantly talking about the book he was going to write. It wasn’t until the grand jury were to convene when the Ramsey’s attorneys found out about the 2 spots of blood & the DA finally ordered that to be tested. The blood was JBs plus Unknown male DNA being saliva mixed in one spot of the blood. This DNA from an unknown male wasn’t developed enough for CODIS at that stage. Desperate Thomas worked Very hard to keep the Fact that there was now Two lots of Unknown male DNA evidence, from the media & so from the public domain. The BPD were ‘leaking’ false & misleading information to the media from the very beginning & the frenzy continued. Eventually the BPD were made to Publicly apologise for doing this to the family but This Fact has been forgotten/not known about by the general public. The BPD’s cops Should have found JB early that morning, though a Search for her was never carried out as it was a Ransom note. Three officers were tasked with checking entry & exit points, yet failed to pull open the cellar door & go in there & they failed to go through the train room door also, thinking it was a cupboard door, they by-passed it. Two of them went around the exterior at separate times early that morning, one with a flashlight. Both failed to see those windows under the grate where one was clearly broken at the top section, being a gaping hole. That broken window was Not where the perps got in the house, but That is Not the point. The investigators Present refused to target the Ramseys but unfortunately Steve Thomas was brought into the case 3 days later & his goal was to make a name for himself. 18 months later he illegally took evidence material from the BPD, snuck off on a ruse & then resigned on national TV, an act that was unheard of in law enforcement history. Of course, the reading of his Pathetic letter blaming the DA for his Own failings, was his Marketing Ploy for his book of BS, blaming Patsy because of a notepad & he commenced book tours. He was promptly sued for that book of Lies, but soo many have forgotten about or don’t know about That, either. He garnered money from the public for his defence but come time for court, he refused to get on the stand to back his ‘Story’. The case was settled out of court & he lost every cent of the hundreds of thousands of dollars he made from that book. The investigation Continued with a bevy of actual Seasoned private investigators who had full integrity & worked tirelessly Unpaid to catch the highly sadistic killers of this child & at the same time, they hoped to save another. Very few know about a libel case in 2003 - Wolf vs Ramsey, where Federal Court Judge Carnes got to go over the evidence known about at that stage. Carne declared the Ramseys factually innocent due to the 'Abundance of evidence that pointed to an intruder'. All can read that 93 page document online. She also had quite a bit to say about Steve Thomas in relation to his role as a police officer & about some of the BS in his book. She was particularly incensed about him stating a time of death for JB when he was not a doctor nor a pathologist. He made up a time of death to suit his own agenda & for that book, being for, his own financial gain. Carne was also quite scathing in relation to Cina Wong who tried to present evidence about that note when Wong had no qualifications to call herself a writing analyst let alone an expert & she never had the original copy of the note. There was No basis for that case to go forward to trial so Wolf lost. Pages showing fake writing As If Patsy’s writing ‘samples’ & As If from police files, continue to appear on vids about this case. The pages are all Fake. You mean Steve Thomas & James Kolar who were Sued for all their blatant lies & misleading 'information' that they filled their books with? It is always amusing to take note of the fact that all you Ramseys bashers Fail to mention that the vote was Not for murder. Yawn. Do even know what century the grand jury sat down for free tea & crumpets? FYI - Only America & one other country still has a stupid grand jury system. It is unfair, unjust & doesn't work. The jurors only hear from the prosecution, who get to pick & choose what evidence is presented & which witnesses appear. There is no judge, no defence lawyers & unless subpoenaed by the prosecution - No experts to rebut Whatever is presented. As a consequence, the jury vote on the side of the prosecution 98.6% of the time. And, the BPD withheld a great deal of vital evidence. Unlike the jury, the general public & the media, the DA actually Saw all the evidence known about at that time as did Lou Smit, one of the best investigators in the country. Less than half the States, still have this abysmal grand jury system. The DNA alone Proved just how Wrong the jury Were. The jurors were Conned into believing Patsy wrote that Ridiculous note, that’s All. Those ‘members’ of the Boulder town public sat down 2 days a week for over 12 months at a great cost to the tax payer, they had to come up with ‘something’. Yawn. BTW - all those Idiots watched, read & listened to the Exact same False & very Salacious information via the Media, for a Very long time Prior, that all You dolts have been brainwashed with back then & ever Since. FYI - Michael Kane didn't 'investigate' a damn thing, he was handed some stacks of paperwork that came directly from Steve Thomas & his offsiders. Kane was forced to take on that case due to the ever deceptive useless 'detectives' who couldn't tie their own shoelaces plus the hierarchy clowns from the BPD who didn't wish to be Blamed for the total Incompetence anymore. After all, their retirement packages were on the line. Kane led the jury members down the yellow brick road each & every day, but found some integrity & Publicly stated eventually, that there was No evidence to charge the Ramseys with anything at all. ALARM SYSTEM / INTRUDER : Haven't come across the status of the home security system except that i believe john once said he just didn't turn it on . That being said , either the intruder didn't pay attention to the fact that there was a home security system and was truly winging it or did know about it & somehow being tricky or clever & disabled it. Did he know about home alarms & could easily outwit home owners . There was the case where an intruder was in a house 9 months later 10 blocks away & was assaulting a young girl but got intrupted and got away. It was reported that their house had an alarm system that never went off. That the system was turned on after they had finally arrived home meaning the intruder was already in the house when they got home .So , the Ramsey's house had an alarm system but John never turned it on but the intruder didn't know that . The intruder obviously knew that the alarm was not turned on when the Ramsey's left the house for the party as he was able to manouver without setting it off. Then the question arises . How did he know John or Patsy didn't turn it on before they finally all headed upstairs to sleep.? Either he triggered it somehow so that even if you thought you turned it on & that's what the system showed and he wouldn't have to worry regardless . OR , he took a chance and went to get jonbenet without any thought that a security system existed which seems quite irresponsable , risky . OR , maybe were just dealing with a total amateur which is unlikely as even the letter indicated some level of awareness as to authorities & police tactics which would mean they have some idea about police meaning serve & protect activities . OR , I'm not an expert , but could security personel know through there security system head control office wether a certains home security was activated and now able to be monitered or even from a laptop just driving up to the house or close enough by. ? It's a bit of a pattern that there is a home invasion involving 2( two) young girls participated in the same activities had their homes broken into , were assaulted , and both homes had home security systems but happened to be turned off . Were these security systems from the same company . ? Did the Ramsey's have the same companies in their other homes in their different cities .? Let's not just think LOCAL as criminals can be very wise and could even try to ceeate a pattern to have everybody think that it is a local located intruder when in reality they could be stocking victims from other cities & for a long x . Have databases involving the same patterns been seached nationwide , worldwide ? John & Patsy could've had an enemy from anywhere & time .

Wong put out a video of course, showing a whiteboard with samples of the letters from the note down columns & letters Next to those, exactly the same, As If Patsy wrote those letters, it’s all Fake. I sometime write a journal in a book where the pages are A4 size, and it takes me very little time to fill three pages. Not hours . And not meticulously planned. Think of all the letters that have been written before the advent of computers and typewriters. I’m sure most of them were written of the top of the writer’s head without a draft written first. And they made sense, and flowed, without any pre planning. We are taught to write from the day we start school. It’s not a skill that only a few select people have. I can see the letter in this case being written by a psychopath, whose aim is to mess with people’s heads. I can see them writing it with great glee. Who knows when they wrote it. They could’ve written it before the Ramseys got home if they broke in before hand. Perhaps they wrote it to stall any investigation, giving the impression that JonBenet had been kidnapped to give them more time to disappear. And it worked. No one found JonBenet for hours after the note was found. That’s a lot of time for someone to get well clear of the scene. I am constantly bemused by the fact that people try and bring some sort of logic to the writing of the letter, eg, an intruder wouldn’t have hung around to write a letter. But once again we don’t know when it was written, and not factoring in that it might have been written by a nut bag who is not operating like a ‘normal’ person would. And that people say no one in their right mind would’ve written such a letter… well hello…perhaps it wasn’t written by someone in their right mind…

JonBenét Ramsey was undeniably a beautiful child, often likened to a living Barbie doll, and her tragic death continues to baffle and haunt many. The case remains unsolved, with numerous theories swirling around due to the conflicting evidence and inconclusive DNA findings. It’s plausible that the perpetrator was someone close to the family, either personally or professionally. The ransom note demanding a specific bonus amount could hint at a motive tied to someone with knowledge of JonBenét’s parents, John Ramsey, and his business dealings. Another angle worth considering is the pageant world, where JonBenét was a standout inheriting her mother's legacy. Perhaps jealousy or rivalry could have driven someone-possibly a parent of a competing child-to hire or manipulate someone into committing the crime. JonBenét’s potential for success, whether in pageants or future endeavors, might have been viewed as a threat by someone envious of her bright prospects. It’s also conceivable that someone from John Ramsey’s professional sphere, such as a business rival, orchestrated the crime out of spite or as a calculated act of revenge. This crime appears meticulously planned rather than impulsive. The large house with its many access points, including the basement, and the use of the ransom note indicate a level of forethought and familiarity with the property. It’s possible that the perpetrator aimed to not only harm JonBenét but also implicate the family in their sinister plot. This tragic case remains one of the most confounding mysteries in modern true crime, leaving many questions unanswered and a legacy of grief and speculation.

The DNA cleared the entire family. "This guy" is just adding the fact that John is a good father. The DNA exonerated him

they way mr Ramsey reacted to the women who was a pageant queen and who comes from a model home, who told her story about abuse and the difference between what's on display and what happens behind closed doors, that sealed it for me. He got so nasty about her, that is highy unlogical for a father who lost his daighter to a childmolester! Not a hint of empathy for the victims, that was the face of an abuser right there. Maybe not her killer, maybe not her abuser, but he is no stranger to the abusive lifestyle.

Incredible. Sadly, it's become painfully clear John Ramsey's influence extends well beyond Boulder, CO District Attorney office. The DNA is utter FUCKING BULLSHIT. Abrams knows that. This is repulsive.

@@fatima01917 Perhaps it was an accidental death and the family covered it up. Grand Jury voted to indict the Ramsay’s but the District Attorney declined to do so. There was evidence presented to that grand jury that the public does not know about.

It's simply incredible one would care enough-or even pretend to care enough-about the truth of this case while having somehow remained wholly ignorant of touch DNA and its concepts. Imagine someone showing up underneath a baseball-history video while unknowingly acknowledging their ignorance as to the significance/existence of Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Barry Bonds and Mike Trout. Now, how seriously would you take their baseball opinions?

Was the neighbors son the same as as burke? Or was he older? The only people whod know about bonus would be the family or a neighbor who mightve heard it from a family member, or those who were cowarkers or in charge of the bonus itself.

The note was never a clue to the crime. In my opinion. The apparatus that was made to kill JonBenet'was always the key to find that precious little girls killer! For years it could have been tested. And it never was! It makes no sense to me and to a lot of other people why it was not the spotlight of the entire investigation!

The one theory people aren’t exploring is that the killer entered the house earlier in the evening, whilst they were out at a party. He wrote the note at leisure and was hiding in the house when they returned (possibly in her room). After this, all he would have to do is incapacitate the girl and carry her downstairs. But he obviously wasn’t able to get her out the basement window as easily as he hoped, so he killed her there. This theory gives the killer time to write the note, and would be less risky than breaking in and sneaking upstairs whilst the house was full. I think this theory lends weight to the ‘intruder theory’ and that the ransom note should be looked at more carefully for determining who the killer ‘could’ be. For me, I would go with someone from Jon’s work or someone with an association to the family, but not a close association. It seems like the note was written by someone who knew the Ramseys.

This case cannot be solved. It was stuffed up from the start. The family invited their friends to contaminate the premises. Only 1 policeman for ages at the house. From every angle this case was stuffed up from the start. This case can only be an example of what not to do. Need to begin with that phone call to 911. What was Patsy saying to Burke? Why did the family pack up and go on holiday? I have no doubt why the family was suspected. Family refused to speak to police. Why? Most ppl would have camped at the police station till something done

The DNA doesn't match. Lou Smit could've had this solved 20 plus years ago. The CBI and FBI could have it solved in a matter of months. But Boulder PD won't budge. I am a Coloradan and I am DISGUSTED by the actions of the whacko "police" in Boulder. I'm also disgusted with our Governor Jared Polis who could force the issue but is too lazy, or just doesn't care enough to. It's probably the latter, Polis absolutely hates Republicans/Conservatives, just like John and Patsy. Either it's a Boulder cop, a cop's kid or these ppl TRULY just do not care. Nothing else makes sense. 🤬
