Maxamps are good batteries i have apair of 8s and they have been great but they were expensive. I will saythere are great options that are a little less. Any great speedrun lipo is gonna cost some money.

Depends on your build, chasis, electronics gody tires. I'd estimate mine at about electronics alone about $1100, chasis motor mount made another 600, wheels another 70. Kit plus any additionalnhop ups apolls gears.. 350 700 Body plus paint 200 -300.. . Keep.in mind I built myself so you have to add in labor cost for someone to build and setup, test and tune. That can run 50 - 80 an hour with about 10 hours on the low end.
